We stayed at the superb Cheetah Ridge and had a great time. On our two game drives we saw so many animals and birds. Our ranger, Lauren, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to spot things which appeared invisible to us initially.
Communication between the rangers was excellent and the balance between conservation and letting nature take its course seemed well and thoughtfully managed.
We were fortunate to see the park's wild cheetah and servals hunting as well as the white rhino and elephants stirring the dust.
An experience that will not be forgotten.

Nambiti is a smallish reserve about 10 years old. We have watched it grow into a well balanced game reserve that is well managed. There are various commercial lodges to choose from. My preference is Idwala lodge which is small and private. The game are healthy and in beautiful condition. Situated 3 hours from Durban it is easily accessible by road. All ways love going back there.

There are several different lodges within Nambiti, we stayed at Springbok Lodge and had a great time. The service was fantastic, accommodation comfortable, the game drives exciting & informative and the reserve is beautiful with plenty of animals. Worth a visit.

My wife Jsnet and I booked a recent 3 night stay at Springbok Lodge at Nambiti Reserve. From the moment of our enquiry we were impressed with the service levels and communication. Wendy updated Janet with details of our trip, options available to us during our stay amd payments.
Directions were well laid out.
Springbok lodge wss easily contactable, which was refreshing compared to many establishments today.
As regular travellers we find speaking to a real person often difficult. Springbok lodge was different in this regard.
The well appointed tents were very clean snd neatly arranged. The Shower was the best on SA. Le Richbourg rating of 9 out of 10.
Game droves were punctual, very informative and interesting even ehen big game was evasive. Our two rangers, Nicole and then William were of the bedt we hsve encountered. Vry friendly with a great sense of humour balanced with great knowledge of the bush.
The food was good, not great. The hot section for breakfast requires improving. Lunch was adequate but would have liked more game options.
The evening meals were good and on special request I ordered a venison steak instead of the menu option beef. Impressive.
Bar service was ok and should be morr driven in offering guests new drinks and top up wine.
Overall a great experience.
The stsff are a highlight and must be commended. Please maintain your service levels snd improve on the dining room where you are able to.
Thanks for hosting us.

Nambiti covers a wide range of landscapes, is well-stocked and only accessible to game vehicles run from the 9 lodges situated in the park. Rowan from umzolozolo is an excellent guide who likes to track and not follow the other vehicles. As a result we were rewarded with some very special experiences. The cheetah recovery centre is a must-visit.
Nambiti has replaced zululand kznwildlife reserves as my "place to go". It an easy drive up from durban and very pleasant to do the midlands meander on the way up.
