When you go on a anniversary weekend you want quality time, accompanied by good food, peaceful sleep... and for us... adventure. Nambithi Hills' suites aren't as enormous as Nambithi Plains "apartments", but size doesn't matter (he he). The room settings are spacious, stunning views over the valley and air-conditioned for comfort.
The food. Wow. This really was a high-light of the lodge. The courses weren't too big to leave us feeling uncomfortable... but rather allowed us to try everything and enjoy it.
The days were spent either lazing around the pool or on the look-out deck, or doing game drives (early morning and afternoon). The game was rare enough to enjoy a sighting of a big 5, and exhilarating to have a black rhino charge (we like that kind of thing :)More
