Thanks for the great time we experienced at the lodge. The care taken to celebrate my wife's birthday was much appreciated! We enjoyed excellent food and our American friends who joined us had a great time. Amazing sighting of a teen elephant with a standoff against a buffalo! Thanks to Chantal, Ross, Joe and the rest of the lodge staff

We have just returned from the most amazing stay at Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge. From the time we were met by Chantel until the time we departed, there was absolutely nothing we could fault. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the game drives were exciting, the food was excellent and the ambience just great. Thanks to all at Nambiti .... we hope to be back. Lyn and Warren, Pretoria.

We visited Nambiti Hills for a weekend bush break. What an extraordinary experience. We were received to the lodge by Ross and then by Chantal. Before taken to our breath-taking room we were treated to lovely tea. Our room was magnificent with the largest patio and the most unbelievable view. The room is massive and so well adorned without losing the sense of being in the bush. The amenities were just fabulous. The food was scrumptious. We were awaken in the morning by Norman to go on our game drive. He had tea and biscuits ready before our drive. His expertise about the animals was amazing. He knew everything to know about wild life. He was such a knowledgeable great ranger. The stopover on the game drive is a lot of fun. He really throws a spread. Breakfast awaits you on your return. The evenings are a very cozy with everyone aroung the fire chatting and sharing there day. What a lovely weekend. The scenery is beautiful and the staff are charming.

Room Tip: The honeymoon suite. The best room with best patio.

We had two nights at Nambiti Hills last weekend – what an amazing time. The rooms are great and give you the real feeling you’re in the bush on your own when sitting on the deck watching (and listening to) the wildlife do their thing.
The cheetah sanctuary is cool and everyone should visit and support Des with what he is doing.
The staff are very friendly but also left you alone if that’s what you wanted, the food and service were great and as usual I ate more than I should have.
Thanks to Brett & Tico who made the game drives entertaining.
A very relaxing weekend in a fantastic place – I hope I’m lucky enough to go back someday soon.

Just returned from 3 night stay at Nambiti Hills. Our group included three children (aged 9, 13, and 15), a 25 yr old, a 40-something, a 50-something, and two 70-somethings... We were eight people in total with ages spanning 6 decades and we all had a great time! We were very happy with the facility, the people, and especially the game drives! We all love Norman! Food was excellent and plentiful. The breaks during the game drives were always fun. We saw incredible animals and had plenty of time to really sit, watch them, and start to understand their behaviors. Norman taught us not only about the animals (including the birds), but also about the flowers and trees, and gave some lessons on tracking. Even in January, the morning drives could be a little cold, but the afternoons and evenings were spectacular. I would highly recommend this lodge for a first time safari -- it was an excellent introduction to game viewing and an overall fantastic experience.

Room Tip: My understanding is that the Honeymoon Suite is spectacular. Note that the rooms are all in separate...

This was our first time in a game reserve and we thoroughly enjoyed it. On our arrival, the animals put on a welcome committee, so by the time we arrived at the lodge we had seen a wonderful selection of wild life which was totally oblivious to our existence. The highlight was the cheetah chasing and killing an impala. We were all so mesmerized that no-one made a video and we couldn't ask him to repeat it!!
Hospitality, food, staff, organization, accommodation, all impeccable. If we get the chance we will return. Thank you Chantal, Ross and Joe.

Immediately you arrive at Nambiti you know you are in for a first class experience. The whole team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The actual game drives are great, our guide (Ross) was extremely knowledgeable, patient, couteous and nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky as we saw so much, lions, elephants, rhinos, and everything else, all at very close proximity. It was a pleasure to get up at 4.30 in the morning for the early drive! The food was also excellent, thanks to Bryce the chef and his team. This was my first safari and I really didn't want to leave, so many thanks to Brett, Chantal and the whole Nambiti Hills crew for making my stay so great. Loved it!
