What a glorious place! The tented acommodation was excellent, although my wife was just a bit hesitant when we booked, her fears were dispelled on arrival. They were large and airy with an inside bath and outside(very private) shower.
Our luggage was carried to our room and we were greeted with a drink and hot towels.
The food was first class and the game drives lead by an extremely knowledgable (in our case) young lady by the name of Nichol.who certainly managed to find plenty of game for us.
A very nice touch was that of having a hot bubble bath ready in our tent one evening together with rose petals and candles!!!!!

We visited Springbok Lodge for two nights in December and our stay with our children and my Aunt and Uncle was perfect.

We loved the remarkable changing scenery - the views across the open plains towards Majuba Mountain were particularly beautiful. The variety of game was also surprisingly good and we enjoyed seeing lion (stalking Impala) Elephants, Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Eland, Hartebees, Jackal and so many other species really close up.

We found the guides from the different lodges on the Nambiti Reserve worked well together to find the game. Our guide was always friendly, courteous and eager to please - and she did just that.

The visit to the Cheetah Rehabilitation Centre and the experience with Leopard, Serval Cats, African Wild Cats, Caracal Lynx and Cheetahs was also worthwhile and we were amazed at how closely you are allowed to interact with the cats (We always felt safe too as the instructions on how to behave when in the enclosure with these wild animals were very clear).

We also loved the luxury tented accommodation, the huge bed, the big bath and outdoor shower. The attention to detail and the little 'touches' were particularily appreciated by the ladies in my family. The meals were all good too.

We chose Spingbok Lodge because of its proximity to Durban and because it is malaria free, and having visited most of the famous reserves near the Kruger Park, I can honestly say that it is is an excellent alternative to them and definitely captures the spirit of a luxury african safari experience.

Springbok Lodge is a place that we will definitely visit again the next time we are in South Africa. We could not fault it.

We have just returned from a great stay at Springbok Lodge. Holly and Mike were extremely friendly and so were the other staff members. The food was excellent, the game drives were exciting and the accomodation was good except for the fact that the tents were extremely hot in spite of air conditioning.

I have been 4 times at springbok lodge and each time something special happen. The game drive is absolutely wonderful, the staff is amazing and the luxury tents beautiful. I was received with a gin tonic and hot towels to clean the hands, and my bags were magically taken inside my room. The game drive is very good and you can see the Big 5. Sleeping on the tent is an amazing experience, and have a shower outside is amazing.

5* for the staff!

Expectations were surpassed at Springbok Lodge especially given the reasonable price. From being greeted with a face towel on arrival to having your gin&tonic in the middle of the park there are some decent little touches that make the experience more special. The tented accommodation had a fantastic view and the room has all the feel of a tent but with a few pleasant luxuries such as air con and outdoor shower. The game drives were stunning (managed to see all the Big 5 in the first 24 hours!!). The staff were friendly and Nicole was incredibly good as a Ranger - it would be worth requesting to go in her group. There is a certain wow factor to this lodge and I would not hesitate to return in the future. With up to 30 guests you do not ever feel crowded. As a newer lodge and park this is a hidden gem worth going to. The lodge is within a fenced area so you feel safe. Food is practical and exactly what you want without being over the top gourmet meals. The Cheetah experience is worth doing if just to support the cause.

Room Tip: If you want a room with a view then go for 14 or 15. Rooms 1 and 12 are at the edge of the fenced ar...

We stayed at the Springbok lodge in luxury tents. Very well layed out and appointed room. We had the good fortune of having Nicolle as our Ranger and guide. She worked tirelessly from 5am to 10pm to make our stay exceptional. From the Game drives, to helping out my retired father get to his accommodations to taking our wine orders, she was fantastic.

The facilities are really great and you truly get the game experience without sacrificing any luxury.

We were fortunate enough to see an incredible amount of game during our stay (again thanks Nicolle) - which made the experience even better. Never have I been so excited to be waking up at 5am!

Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We had our wedding at Springbok Lodge in October 2012.

All we can say is WOW, what a fantastic experience. We would recommend Springbok Lodge for a bush wedding without any hesitation.

We stayed there with our family on the Friday night before the wedding and they arranged the most delicious potjie dinner for us.

All of the staff went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed and more.
On the morning of the wedding the staff must have been up at the crack of dawn to start preparing for our special day.

To be honest with you, there was not one thing that went wrong on our wedding day, if anything, the staff at Springbok Lodge had everything running more perfectly that we could have ever imagined. The whole day was a total success, what more could a bride want.

We absolutely loved the food and there was plenty of it.

A big thank you to Wendy and the all of the staff for a wonderful experience.

We will definitely be celebrating a few anniversarys there :-)
