When we arrived the place was fairly well packed and not much room to spare, generally a good sign I think. The landlord, looking a bit frayed at the edges, was juggling a busy pub with some kitchen equipment malfunctions. Despite that he was courteous, considerate to his customers and, above all, was communicating. So we sat back, enjoyed the view, had a beer and passed the time. Assured that food would be produced in good time. The food was excellent when it arrived. A pleasure to spend time and look forward to going back.
