Casares is a typical Spanish white village of this region. It is a lovely village to explore with many interesting features, one of which is the Carlos III fountain. It's situated in the centre of Casares, was built in 1785 and spouts fresh mountain water. It's also a traffic hazard!
Casares is worth the drive to visit - we spent several hours there exploring and having a meal.
