Stunning location, excellent food and excellent service. Also extremely reasonable. Best dinner we had in over a year. Be sure not to miss this place.

We just love this venta as we know the food and the service will ALWAYS be first class. Had a great sunday lunch this weekend. The week before we visited with our son, a very demanding eater, for the menu del dia. He said it was the best duck he had ever eaten. The atmosphere was superb, the welcome warm and welcoming. It is our favourite venta and I can't wait to go back

I like the atmosphere, the view of the mountains and that there is always something new. I hate when I have not booked and there is not table free!

Venta Garcia has the best front-of-house owner in Andalucia:- Jesus Garcia ensures this is no ordinary Venta. Then things really start to go well, the ambience is minimalist with clean lines, white table napery and everything else is pristine. There is a Menu del Dia Tuesdays through Fridays where for €12 euros a three course lunch can be enjoyed. The menu changes daily, and is always fresh and well presented. There is a well-stocked wine cellar, where the wines are chosen by Jesus himself.

For dinner the extensive A La Carte menu is available, it nods to modern European in style, but is not pretentious, and all portions are generous.

What we ate: Parillada de Verduras is always wonderful as a starter or accompaniment to the mains, Gazpacho, Fois Gras with caramelised apple and so on, the mains include choices of lamb leg, solomillo steak, duck confit or vegetarian. For dessert I had the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice-cream which was dreamy and delightful.

Service is attentive, efficient and unobtrusive.

Always book whether for lunch for dinner, and thoroughly enjoy.........I have been enjoying Venta Garcia for 9 years now, and it has never disappointed.
