Good coffee, with free wifi provided. Has this Taiwanese bakery feel. Refreshing experience in a town that had not been rejuvenated.

This is a GEM! Fantastic steamed-vegetable buns. My other recommendations are the orange-flavoured chiffon cakes, mochis (glutinous rice balls) and man-taos(plain steamed white buns). Avoid the frosted cakes (yucky mock cream and icky funny tasting choc curls) or overly mayonnaised sandwiches. Stick to the basics!

The bread made by Breadsense is really very good, which is no bad thing for a bakery! the salad baguette I had was very fresh and the salad was very tasty, i took a chicken baguette away with me to eat later and that also was good quality. Recommend if you have a craving for a sandwich.

This is a new cafe with a refreshing clean white interior. Very different from the usual dimly lit cafes. I really enjoyed sitting on the second floor looking down at the people on the streets. I went there one day for lunch & I had a pleasant surprise.
I can't remember how much it cost but I think the package was really cheap (around RM10). There was a glass of iced lemon tea, tasty pumpkin soup to start, a main which was just the right size & s small pot of custard to finish.
The lunch package was well-priced & well-portioned out. It will satisfy an average man & give him a great sense of value. I would have been willing to pay more actually.
However, if you are looking for a great latte, don't go there. They make their lattes like normal coffee & serve it in a tall glass (around RM10). In the end, it tastes like a plain espresso shot + hot milk. At such a price, I'd expect a real barista to be preparing the coffee. Not a worker.
