While staying in Paternoster the host of our guesthouse recommended the Voorstrandt as a really good fish restaurant without any attitude - and we did not get disappointed.
The restaurant is in the first line to the ocean, only a stone's throw away where the fish on the plate comes from.
The location is equipped quite simple but in a snugly way with a lot of nice details.
We hat a table in the annex with a direct view to the ocean - maybe to fresh in winter but ok in summer.
We had really delicious tempura shrimps (the waiter told us that they are frozen ones as we ordered - this is real honesty!), fantastic yellowtail (line fish of the day) cajun style and a incredible good crayfish/lobster. The dessert was a mouth-watering "sticky toffee cake" with ice.
Prices and delivered value was really good, the service quick and very friendly.
