“Home from home”
Reviewed July 2, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Lovely relaxing place to stay, everything you need for a quiet break away. We took bicycles and found plenty of cycle tracks in the area. Try the heated outdoor swimming pool at Jubilee Park.........really nice for a sunny afternoon

“Absolutely excellent.”
Reviewed June 4, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We had a wonderful time in this well thought out and well situated holiday home. It was a quiet and peaceful area but still just a 5 minute walk to the village with its many amenities.

The Hideaway itself had every thing you needed for a pleasant stay and the owners, Mike and Anne were very welcoming and kind, going above and beyond to return my sunglasses which I left behind. The holiday home itself is light, airy and spotlessly clean and comes equipped with everything you need right down to tea, coffee, and other essentials, so no hunt for a supermarket as soon as you get there.

We loved it at the Hideaway and were sad to leave, and will be booking for another week very soon.

The on-site owners are very friendly and helpful.
The 'cottage' itself has everything you could need for a short or longer stay and it was all spotlessly clean and tidy.
A complimentary welcome pack was provided with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, and there were toiletries in the bathroom. Even tablets were provided for the dishwasher.

Liked best: Truly self-contained with its own outside space in a pretty setting
Liked least: Bed's a bit firm but I suspect after a couple of nights you'd get used to it.
