Interesting old building, with bomber connection. Grounds beautifully maintained. Room ok. Dinner a bit disappointing for the money. Feel a bit robbed paying £20 for the dog for the night, when just a blanket and long list of rules provided. Better to embrace having dogs, or don’t allow them.

Warmly invited by receptionist to wander freely in the public areas of hotel and gardens. Poignant and atmospheric, Dambuster bar filled with mementos of the crews and time. Gardens beautifully tended a mix of family intetests and styles and dotted with remembrace plaques of crews and RAF personel over the years. Worth a visit, you dont need to be a resident. Lovely terrace restuarant and lovlier afternoon tea.

Gorgeous Setting, Full of History, excellent food and comfy bed. Went to RAF Scampton first then stayed over at Petwood before our Lancaster Taxy Ride at East Kirkby to complete our Dambuster Trail experience.

We use this venue every year for our conference. They always look after us extremely well. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff, around when you need them but not obtrusive. Good food - restaurant and bar - delicious buffet lunches. Lovely setting for evening meal and socialising. Great breakfast.

Pity breakfast on the final morning of our stay we had poor service , didn't get asked if we wanted tea , coffee or toast , other guests were enjoying theirs whist l had to ask for ours halfway through breakfast , pity .
