Will definitely return, excellent, lodge with all you need and very clean , very quiet and peaceful secluded , staff are very helpful, lots of activities for the children, dogs welcome, it would be nice if there was a indoor area for your dog as not always possible to sit outside when first arrive or if go to Starbucks or bar.

Me and my partner wanted a much needed chill out get away.
We loved it here. We had no big issues just me nit picking!

I found a few facial hairs in my sink and some rose petals from the previous guest, other than that the cleanliness was great.

Someone comes to check on the hot tub twice a day at any random time. I have suggested this needs to be in time windows as you may have the back doors open and it is a invasion of privacy. You will also need to ask for the takeaway menus at reception as it is not given in the folder that's already in your room.
As Walcott is right by reception it's not so bad however we did have our dog with us and you can not take dogs in the reception area which is a bit of pain. That is why we wanted to order a takeaway as we didn't want to sit outside and eat at the bar as it was cold. I understand there is lodges there that are not dog friendly and not everyone likes them but maybe have a indoor dog friendly communal area.

We took a trip to Skegness beach and loved it!

Overall we would defo stay again. We enjoyed it, service was great and helpful. We hired the games pack and the treat pack for games night. TV in the lounge and the bedroom, Lovley joy tub and decking chairs. Cutlery, plates, cups, ironing board and iron etc all supplied

Seating area is a bit small. Only 2 seater sofa so very uncomfortable to both fit on, ideally needed a 3 seater.
Would definitely reccomend.

This was fantastic for my birthday celebrations with family. We stayed in a big beast and it had everything we needed. The two hot tubs were fab and my grandsons had a blast as we all did. They came every morning and checked the tubs were right with chemicals and also dropped two bags of logs off ( you could have more if you wanted ) we all had an archery lesson and the boys loved the zorb balls. Some of the accomodation is dog friendly and our dogs loved the outdoors. Staff friendly and helpful. One gripe, we were told to turn our music off at ten o clock ( not Down ) while at the back of us a group were partying very loudly until 5.30 am. Didn't think that was fair. Apart from that we abided by the rules and would definitely go back., Super break.

We stayed in a lakeside hunting lodge. The lodge was incredible, cosy, romantic and exceptionally well fitted out. Modern and spotlessly clean. Me and my partner have been to a lot of these styles of UK breaks in lodges/ cottages and this is BY FAR the nicest place we have stayed. We have given it 4 stars, as we felt a little let down by the communal areas. They are quite dated and could do with some works to bring them up to the same high standard of everything else. We were also surprised to see that the reception, bar and cafe were not dog friendly, even though their holidays are sold as dog friendly (some lodges). It meant we couldn't enjoy those facilities during our stay, as we wouldn't leave the dog in the lodge alone, which was a real shame. Otherwise, cannot fault it. There are a few lovely walks (1.5miles to Woodhall Spa and 4.5miles to Horncastle) both which offer lovely towns with friendly people and dog friendly pubs!!

The lodges were beyond expectations. Plenty space for everyone, and plenty rooms to accommodate everyone. The hot tubs, decking and bbq great. Could do with a table suitable for eating outside. (We had fantastic weather) The kitchen equipment and appliances, all top of the range. The beds very comfortable. Showers great, down side was no bath for younger members in family.
