OK, so I realised there was a rather patchy review history for this park after I paid a grand for two weeks, and began dreading my stay. I am pleased to say, that it's not as bad as some people have made out. It's fair to say that some reviewers should take a pill before putting finger to keyboard. Firstly, we're staying (currently) in a bungalow, not a hot tub lodge. The accommodation is pleasantly furnished, has a nice big flat screen TV, a good sized bathroom and two good sized bedrooms. The kitchen is nicely fitted out but is a tad tired, and a washing machine would be a nice touch for those staying more than a week. The down sides are that there isn't a lot to do here if you have kids. The pool is small, but it's a pool full stop. Other activities are run by friendly staff, but out of season, you might be the only ones bidding for raft building materials or doing archery (which actually worked well in our favour!). The park is a bit rough round the edges in places (the bowling green for instance), but it's obvious that some serious money has been spent here recently. I must admit though, the old touring pitches are starting to look a bit sad now. The wifi coverage is also patchy and not secure. Most of the bungalows are covered, and a lot of the lodges are too, but there are dead spots and the speeds are low due to high contention on a slow countryside DSL connection. Staff are very polite, and the problems we did have were quickly and efficiently rectified, so I cannot fault them here.

Stayed 7 days in Allington Lodge and every day was great! Lodge was clean, spacious, well equipped.
Hot tub was fantastic! Staff very friendly and helpful.9 hole golf is more than enough for amateurs like we are!Longest distance to hole was about 130metres,shortest about 80m.All for free. Just pay £5 refundable deposit for golf clubs.3 tennis courts free as well.
Beautiful are around. Not far away to Skegness. Nearest Tesco is 8 km away.
100% would recommend this lodge and will be back next year !

Room Tip: Choose new lodges.Older ones look bit dated from outside.

We stayed for four nights with me and my partner and his mum who is disabled, they put a ramp up no problem and were very helpful by getting a taxi to come directly to our lodge. The lodge was beautiful, very big with a great secluded area and views that had rabbits every day to visit. The pool was small but we didn't go in, the bar looks great but we didn't use it, the area has a few shops to get any food we needed and little coffee shop there called alfies was great as they did real coffee and breakfast. Overall it was a great find and would go again. Thankyou to all staff

We booked one of the 6 berth lodges with hot tub for the weekend, to meet up with some friends. Both parties were adults only, and as a result, the accommodation proved to be perfect for the task. Plenty of room throughout, clean and tidy with all the utensils you need for a weekend away.
Everyone said the beds were a little uncomfortable, but to be fair, I slept well enough so it is probably a matter of taste.
The park itself is ok, but I would not like to get stuck here with children, or worse still, teenagers. There is very little to do, and what there is, looks in need of an upgrade.
To sum up:
If you are coming for a quiet weekend away, as a group of adults, the lodge is very nice and plenty big enough. The hot tub is quite small, but will accommodate 4, or 6 depending on how well you know each other.
Reception staff are ok, but all seem young and only seem to do the bear minimum to get you through. They were very pleasant though.
The park is very quiet. All the lodges were full, but you did not see a soul as you walked around.
Facilities for the youngsters, were sparse and really in need of an upgrade. Facilities for teenagers appeared non existent.

Room Tip: We got a very good late booking deal, so it was reasonable value. If we had paid full price, it woul...

We got a discounted hoseasons break here at bainland country park for a 2 bedroom new lodge with a private hot tub on the decking. We stayed in Fulbeck lodge.

The lodge itself has all you could want - there were 2 nice double bedrooms - both with individual wet rooms (NB waterfall showers not baths). We used one room for the twins - there were 2 travel Cots available (although one was included we had to pay extra for the second one) and these fitted into one of the rooms. The lounge / diner was really nice and was fairly well equipped. Everything was brand new and the decor was lovely. There are flatscreen TVs in each bedroom and the lounge.

The lodge was fab for us because we could put ur babies to bed and then have a hot tub before dinner - the decking is enclosed and baby monitors signal reaches outside.

The lodge itself is set in a lodge / caravan park about 1.5 miles oitside of a village called woodhall spa where you can get supplies as there is no shop on site (newspapers are sold in reception). The park was empty when we were there which was good as our lodge was overlooked by others. The park is quite well set out though and there are lots of activities on site should you wish to use them including a swimming pool and golf course.

All in all a really good 'get away from it all' break with our babies for the price, but I would not have paid full price (>£600) for it!

We stayed at this holiday park whilst our bathroom was being refurbished. We were allocated Biscathorpe a two bedroom lodge overlooking the golf course. Whilst this was spacious and clean it was obviously one of the original properties and desperately in need of refurbishment especially the kitchen and bathroom. The on site bistro had a very limited menu but the meal we had was reasonable if somewhat overpriced.

Room Tip: If staying try for one of the newer lodges

Arrived monday 24/06/2013.Reception staff great and directed us straight to our lodge hassle free. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and very modern, wanted for nothing a real home from home...the lodge we were in backed on to a playing field then onto the golf course, great for watching our children whilst relaxing in the hot tub! cannot comment on the other facilities as we only used the lodge as a base whilst we were exploring the lincolnshire countryside and coast..great pleasure to stay here and will be most certainly returning, thanks to the staff and owners for the comfortable, peaceful and pleasurable stay.......

Room Tip: Elsham lodge a great little nook,Quite and relaxing.
