The restaurant is run by a family with Italian roots and it shows in the food, the drinks, and the service. Our first dinner there was so convincing that we returned for the remaining nights of our trip.
The food as such is excellent, the menu of course in part adapted to the taste of the locals. But what really was unexpected was the wine selection. Apart from what is on the regular menu and wine menu, they stash a couple of real hidden treasures they obtain directly from the producers. Quite unexpected for your average Pizzeria, and for us, that was what really made the difference. That, and the real friendly and warm service.
The setting is what one expects in a restaurant frequented by villagers and tourists alike - Italian charm, but lively.
