We stopped in the charming town of Tavel to sample the famed rose wine. Drawn to this restaurant with its small outdoor seating area, and although all the tables were already taken the waitress simply smiled and said "un moment" and shortly appeared and set up a new table for us. I had the menu of the day (lamb), which was outstanding and my wife ordered the fish which was delicious as well. The glass of rose was perfection and since we were not sure which of the many wineries to visit, we had asked her where the wine we were drinking was from and she directed us to the wine cooperative...perfect! She was so pleasant and accommodating and the food so good that we would highly recommend a visit. We had lunch but I have no doubt that it would be a wonderful choice for dinner as well.

A nice family owned bistro with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Edwige was very friendly, great fun and professional all at the same time.

I had the Menu (crayfish salad, beef rump steak main and cheese for dessert) and my partner had the Roasted Salmon filet, with saffron sauce and Assorted ice cream and sorbet for dessert (Vanilla icecream & pineapple sorbet). Everything was beautifully prepared and presented.

A very enjoyable meal on all scores. Good value for money. Good local wine list at reasonable prices.

Would highly recommend, and will go again when we return to Rhone / Tavel.

Somehow a family restaurant for local people and tourists that are numerous in this area.
Friendly welcome but foreigners may not realize it since the English level of the team is not so high. They have a menu in English to compensate for that.
Not so many dishes on the menu but we found them carefully selected to offer a food sample of what has to be tried, although the names are not so obvious and make it difficult to imagine what you will get. Simple dishes but nicely prepared. If you have no special idea, just go for their 20€ set menu... But you have to drink a chilled bottle of the local Tavel rosé wine that so famous in France. It goes very well with this Mediterranean Summer cuisine.
The location is average. The restaurant is in the main street (of course Tavel is not Paris or Hong-Kong), with cars passing along the tables (luckily Tavel is not...). Definitely don't go there if you are looking for a romantic place.
But if you are in the neighborhood, why shouldn't you try?
