“Fine Hotel-Cheap and Cheerful”

Good Hotel. First off your not getting a 5 star service here, so don't go in expecting the Four Seasons.
Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, staff are friendly and geniune (something that I think is missing from places that are supposedly top class). No AC in our room, so quite hot at night especially for a pasty Irish lad like me.Pool is really really nice. Resturant food is basic but ok.
Went on a family holiday with my son and wife for five days, our little fella is only 2 so didn't really take in any of the shows he seemed more concerned with running up and down the ramp from the swimming pool to the resturant than anything else.
The hotel itself needs repairs and coat of paint, that said it didn't affect us one bit. You get what you paid for, and in this instance we got more as the staff were great, and really made us feel special every time we dealt with them. (look for Maria in the resturant a geniunely lovely person)
Book it if you want a cheap holiday with no frills.
Don't book it if you want he five star treatment.( you'll get it from the staff but not from the place)

Room Tip: Don't know if the rooms have AC but definately check it out if you can. Tenirefe is warm at nigh...

First impression of the hotel as we arrived was not bad. The room was clean and spacious, however as we explored the hotel it was badly in need of modernization. Most areas were in a poor state of repair.
The pool was good but had to be emptied three times within two weeks due to mud/sand and seaweed being washed over the sea wall.
The food was not good. Most meals were only warm and floating in oil and great if you like pork as it was on the menu almost every day. Nothing specific for children. Salads were ok.
We were all inclusive all drinks were fine but we had some meals out just to have a decent meal.

If you're looking for a quiet, cheap, friendly and clean holiday then this could be a hotel to choose!

Food - A variety of meals were offered. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. Very repetitive after a week but overall a fair selection and plenty of it.

Rooms - When we first arrived it was a shock but the rooms were lovely and spacious and clean. A very clean hotel once you get inside. Ignore the outer building decor as this is very 70's and is in need of some TLC!

Pool and Gardens - Lovely gardens which are well cared for and cleaned daily of rubbish etc. of which is usually discarded by guests staying in the hotel. The pool made my holiday especially when the tide came in and to see the waves crashing into the pool. An early morning sit on the rocks looking out to the ocean was an amazing experience whilst listening to the waves. The beach was small but clean and the sun terraces were spacious. The sunbeds could be updated and the tiles around the edge. The pool sometimes became murky due to the tide and waves bringing in seaweed but they emptied and cleaned it 1-2 times a week.

Entertainment - This was the biggest let down for our family. The daytime games etc. didn't really exist because the guns and bows were broken, waterpolo and aquatic fit were also not inviting.

Evening entertainment was very repetitive and quite dull. Parrots and snakes were good to see. Kids disco was ol but some songs were a little inappropriate for young children with bad language and sexy gestures. Some new dances are needed!

Staff - Majority were friendly and chatted and were always eager to assist. This includes restaurant and bar staff, maintenance and cleaners, entertainers and reception.

Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Overall a lovely relaxing holiday but one visit is enough!

me,my wife and 2 kids went here for 10 days. we had read all the reviews before we went and didnt know what to expect. we arrived outside the hotel and it does look like a multi storey carpark but looks are decieving!!. inside the reception is nice and the staff very welcoming. the rooms are massive and spotless, recommend ground floor as views of pool/sea are fantastic. the food got very samey but it is all inclusive so didnt expect any different. the pool is lovely when first cleaned (wednesday morning) but does get very dirty by the end of the week due to the sea flooding into it. the pool area is spacious and sun loungers are always available. evening entertainment is fantastic for the kids with matthew and sabina working flat out to make it fun for everyone, they are fantastic but matthew left the week we did and the new entertainment manager ( toto) was more into the teenagers allowing them to run riot and take over!! be warned!!. she wasnt very friendly to my kids!!. it was a shame as up to that point matthew and sabina had really really made their holiday great. the drinks were on tap day and night with a really good selection. bar closes at 23.00 but you can buy drinks till 23.30.
All in all a great budget holiday and well worth visiting. we decided to go after all the reviews and had a great time. a holiday is as good as you make it and at the low price its a good start.
siam park and loro park are a definite must.

Room Tip: ground floor sea/pool view

Good place for staying with children. There is smal swiming pool for them, children playground with good variety of facilities. Area is closed and childeren can not easealy run away, so parents may be little bit relaxed :-). There is small beach in hotel area and it is nice, that you can change between swiwing pool and ocean whenever you want. Diving club is located inside hotel territory,so you can have a chance to use it. We was also diving nearby small beach, quite nice area near rocks even for "wild diving" without facilities, but only with mask.

Food was not as great in all-inclusive menu. However, enough. From time to time we had dinner in local restaurants, which are quite cheap.

Room was clean, but some renovation is required. It was more or less like rooms in Soviet Hotels (guys from former USSR will get my point :-)). As a plus, there was a possibility to cook something in a room. With small child, that is a big advantage. There was living room and bedroom. Baby cot was provided. Quite a nice balcony with ocean view was a good add-on. But sometimes there was a smell from fountains, which were near the building. I would assume fountains should be cleaned more frequently.

There is washing room, where only for 4 Euros you can clean 10 kg of clothes, but not 5 Euros per T-shirt, usually payed in majority of hotels :-)...

We payed 60 Euros per night for family (2 adults + 1 baby). I don't regret an think it was good value for money. There are better hotels in Los Cristianos and Las Americas, but you will hardly find hotel with own access to ocean, small beach and quite nice children's conditions for even double price.

Room Tip: Higher floor will give a nice ocean view.

The hotel doesn't look great. When you first enter the foyer and your room you need to be prepared to step back in time to Crossroads Motel. But the rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the basics you need in them, the beds are comfortable and there is lots of space.

We were all inclusive - the food is fresh, but there isn't much variety. If you are prepared to accept that then there is really nothing to complain about. Lager, soft drinks and wine are on tap - you only have to be served for spirits which means you not wasting time in a queue!

The entertainment is hilariously cheesy, but the animacion staff work really hard! If you like a bit of cheese (dad dancing, animals and magicians that bear no resemblance to Dynamo then you will be happy!)

The pool and the view is to die for! We had 3 days of the the sea coming into the pool at high tide, creating epic waves and we had a ball body surfing! It also has the advantage of creating a lovely sea breeze so you don't feel the heat so much.We liked the hotel because there are lots of nationalities there so you don't feel like a Brit abroad.

Its a very short walk into town, lots of independent shops and supermarkets and small cafe bars - it's very much full of locals which we enjoyed.

Taxi from airport around 18 euros and easy to get one straight outside- much less hassle than getting a transfer bus. Buses also run into Los Cristianos from opposite the hotel. This is a much busier town where you get hassled to go into bars, restaurants and have your hair braided. It's alot more touristy but nice for a few hours!

My tip is don't be put off by how it looks because it really is a lovely place to go.
