This hotel presents itself as a 3/4 star hotel.......it looks like a carpark from the outside and feels like one inside. It is pretty shabby and the clientele are rather dubious......drunk, loud and common Brits especially. The food is not too bad on the all Inc and check in was efficient but do beware the beds are very uncomfortable and there is a lack of plug sockets in the room. I think this may have been a nice place in it's hey day but the general air of shabbiness and having to drink your coffee by the pool in a plastic cup really does let this place down. The most uncomfortable sun beds ever tried.

Room Tip: It does not matter which room when drunk tourists are yelling in the corridors at all hours of the n...

Just awful - although room was clean everything stank of cigarettes - we arrived, looked round and checked out again. The place is like a prison - we heard too that it's not the safest location. We found an apartment up the coast and paid an extra £350 for the week - so much happier ! Gutted we fell for some of those ok reviews on Trip Advisor.

All in all we had a fab time here. We wanted some last minute sun in october and we got a week all inclusive with flights for just under 250 each. And to be honest we were chuffed with it. Hovever its worth pointing out that had we paid more we probably wouldnt have been.

Hotel is ...alright. yeah it looks a bit like a car park but its clean and our room was massive. The food is basic it reminded me a bit of school dinners but we never went hungry in fact i would say we put a few pounds on!

The pool was fab - i have never seen a pool so big and even tho a bit chilly in oct we had a lilo and spent hours just floating around in the sun.

Entertainment is naff but help yourself all inclusive seems to make the evenings pass by quite well.

We got the bus to los cristianos for a nice meal out and a few drinks and also in the day to the beach which was lovely.

local area is quiet so it is a bit of just veg by the pool holiday - but as long as you know this and are not looking for an action packed week you should be ok.

It is quite clear to see that this hotel would have been in its prime in the 80s.

One thing we had read on here about stuff being stolen and as a result ensured that we got a safe in the room. I would definately say this is a must as although we had no problems we did here of other guests having rooms broken into. It must be a member of staff who has a key by all accounts.

All in all we went home happy.

This is a cheap holiday and you will soon find out why. Building is awful to look at. there is very little choice for meals and it is normally cold ( there is a microwave ). Evening meal does not start until 7.30pm which causes problems for young families. Rooms are okay but although there is BBC & ITV the reception is awful. Being all inclusive there are individuals who go completely overboard which results is the usual fights ( 2 nasty incidents in a 7 day holiday). Far too many drunks. The evening entertainment is non existant with children running about everywhere. Most sun beds are broken and very uncomfortable.. My advice is give this hotel a miss.

The other reviews are mostly true, the hotel is old and outdated but if you want 5 star you can pay five times the price. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, the choices at meal times were limited but the food was good. The hotel's location was in a quiet town but the bus stopped outside and Las Americas was 20 minutes away.I would say this hotel was good value for money.

I took my daughters and my mum on this holiday for one week on August! Read The trip advisor after booking holiday and was filled with dread!
From the outside the hotel looks like a car park! The rooms were adequate and the staff were very friendly. The real downside was the pool.. This was filthy with vomit, stools and seaweed. Whilst we were there the pool was totally cleaned but this did not last long!
A lot of locals use and abuse this hotel and amenities with dogs mess a common problem along with loosing sun beds to the locals whilst away from them for a short time, with personal effects just dumped in a pile! (although most were broken anyway)!!
We went all inclusive and the food was good with plenty of choice for all ages and cultures. This accommodation has a large variety of nationalities staying at any time and should the locals respect this fact then the holiday experience would have been much better.
The town appears to have a lot of shops, however whenever we went out the large majority were closed.
1 week was certainly long enough, we really had to make the best of a bad decision. So glad this wasn't the first holiday to Tenerife otherwise certainly would never go back to the island.
My advise, pay a little more and don't stay at Las Galletas!!
