We booked two pitches at the same time in April to stay here in August.
I had many email conversations with the campsite before we arrived and actually changed our pitches from being without electricity to being with electricity. So in my opinion as someone who had worked in customer service it would seem quite clear that the bookings where for a party who wanted to be next to each other.
However, when we arrived we were put 3 pitches apart - when i asked for us to be placed together the lady said no we didn't request it on our booking. At the time i couldn't argue any different, however after looking at my emails - yes although i did not specifically say i want two pitches together, i had emailed many times about our booking for them to see we were the same family so should have placed us together. (i may add that i booked 3 other campsites exactly the same information and we were placed together!)
Just a bit of common sense - as i know you will probably reply back saying i didn't ask for pitches together.
Also the pitch next to us could have been used as the 3 nights we were there, it had 3 different inhabitants???? The people on the first night had been told to move from our pitch to the one next door - why not ask them to move to 3 pitches further down, they only had a small quercha pop up tent so not a big issue - just making a point!!
Anyway onto the campsite.
Pitches were okay - not that big but exactly as advertised.
Swimming pool was great and pool was very warm. Slides were good fun.
Sanitaires - very good - showers were a little weak but i haven't a problem with that.
Campsite was clean and tidy.
But one warning if you want a site near the beach of Saint Jorioz or Duingt - then book somewhere else, it is about a 30-40 minute walk to Saint Jorioz beach and 20-30 minutes to Duingt. We had small children so it did take a bit longer.
Saint Jorioz beach is a paid beach with good facilities - and is very clean. With sand for the kids and is worth paying for.
Duingt beach is a grassed area next to the lake road, it was smaller and quieter - toilets weren't great but i would use this area again. No sand for kids but my two didn't miss it.
