I got a voucher as a birthday gift and having never been to this spa before I was really looking forward to it.i wasn't disappointed ,staff were warm and welcoming,i had an aromatherapy full body massage which I thoroughly enjoyed.the other half had a Swedish massage which he said was excellent ,i loved having use of all the facilities and made the most of it.highly recommend the rooftop pool, very relaxing and a spectacular view.we had booked the afternoon delights so afternoon tea was included, food was lovely and the cakes we coudnt eat were boxed up for us to take away.overall we had a lovley day, would highly recommend going here.

This spa is lovely with a good range of facilities - different rooms (aroma, sauna, tepidarium, caldarium, infra red...), a proper swimming pool and a number of jacuzzi options including rooftop. The treatments are great with friendly and skilled therapists who are able to tailor treatments and seem to put more into ensuring they are great than some hotels who don’t have so many return customers. Does get a bit too busy at weekend, we had to share a locker as many are broken and not enough working lockers. Also didn’t smell so great on a busy Saturday so think they need to light some of the lovely scented candles they sell like they used to. Overall very worth a trip. More choice of food in the spa cafe now which is great.

Been to the spa many times over the years but has went from 5 star to 2.
Was not only disappointed with my treatment yesterday - back, neck and shoulder massage; which didn't include neck or shoulders - but was also embarrassed with the poor quality of the spa after taking two friends who hadn't been before.
Firstly if the therapists are not competent in carrying out the full treatment then don't charge clients for treatments you can't provide. I mentioned on exit that I wasn't happy only to be met with a receptionist tilting her head to the side and saying "sorree" with a patronising smile. Not a standard I expect from what should be a luxury spa.
The spa itself is not being maintained- strip lighting on stairs mostly not working; lots of lockers not working; towels provided are more like hand towels; robes only fit size 12 or smaller women; the relaxation room was cold; dining area also too cold. In addition far too many people admitted at the same time.
Overall very disappointing, I will be looking elsewhere now for my spa and I will definitely not embarrass myself by recommending to friends.

The spa is definitely not being maintained. Lots of damp on ceilings, broken locks in changing rooms and showers, changing area was flooded. Far too many people in at one time making it less enjoyable overall. There were about a dozen people getting ready at one time after being in spa - 2 hairdryers! No sockets for straighteners. Staff are great and do best they can with what they have to work with. Meal in Claret Jug afterwards was superb. Excellent service in particular from a chap called Mark and a young guy whose name l never caught.
