We are so glad that we booked this hotel! This hotel is relatively smaller than other establishments, which makes is much more relaxing, calm and peaceful place to stay. But the best thing about this place is the location. It is right on the best spot to snorkel, swim within the island as this lagoon is very calm yet have a plenty of marine life (even saw stingrays). It is really safe even for little ones to swim.

We stayed on the first floor so we could just walk out and go for a swim or walk which was just what we wanted.

The food there is also great. They have hot cooked meal such as fish curry, pizza and fish of the day and they are great. For dinner, you can sit on the outside hut looking out to the beach, admiring the sunset.

The staffs there are very friendly and helpful, making your stay special.

We loved staying there and will certainly go back there on our next trip to Rarotonga.

Room tip: Ground floor ones for easy access to the beach

After I booked on a major travel website, this hotel breached the advertised terms and charged my credit card without authorisation. Deposit was taken within one day of booking, but three weeks after cancellation I am still waiting for a refund, many phone calls and emails later. Think twice before booking here.

Ate there last night, round towards the Western side on the outer loop road. Fish Curry was fantastic. My wife had the Pork Roll which also was very nice. Great food excellent location for dinner at dusk. Relax in great atmosphere with friendly staff and a few cold drinks.

We stayed in the Hotel for a few nights while attending a wedding. Our overall rating is based on having spent time at other accommodation on the island during our visit.

The hotel has a fabulous outlook over the beach to the lagoon which surrounds the island, and also happens to be one of the best swimming beaches on the island.

The hotel itself is "old and tired", the rooms are spacious however the decor, fixtures, fittings etc are dated and there with no ceiling fans so you have to run the aircon all the time. The restaurant is rudimentary; adequate buffet breakfast and average dinner meals (though the fish curry is excellent) easily surpassed at numerous venues on the island.

Wayne (manager) and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and should be commended.

Summary, at NZ$300/night this property is overpriced compared to other accommodation on the island.

Room tip: All rooms have beach views
