My husband and I just returned from one week at Royale Takitumu...LOVED IT!! The villas are spacious and set in beautiful surroundings and the spa bath is great! It is quiet and peaceful. You can lay on the beach in the morning and as the sun moves off the sand in the afternoon you can retire to the gorgeous pool area. There are some lovely restaurants to visit - a must is 'Waterline' - make sure you get there to see the sun set - amazing! Thank you to Mii and Joy for the friendly personal service you gave us and especially to Mii for the yummy muffins and showing us how to make coconut oil. We highly recommend staying here and are sure you will enjoy it as much as we did. Hope to get back again one day. P.S....am loving the robe!

The problem with this place is this-it is so wonderfull you won't want to go back to your home.Everything has been thoughtfully designed, and beautifully done-the photos don't really do it justice. Why waffle on?-if you're thinking about going here for a r+r Raro holiday, stop thinking-just do it.Trust me,you wont be sorry, and if you take her indoors she will be overcome with admiration at your thoughtfullness of taking her to such a wonderfull retreat.

Room Tip: vip beachfront-you're paying heaps,so pay just a little more for the best spot. The view from the...

We stayed here 5 nights for our honeymoon. Our flight was delayed by 1 day but the lovely staff were able to arrange for us to stay another night to accommodate us.
This place is truly hidden from the road and located at a beautiful secluded beach. The staff are very warm and friendly. There was even a bbq night held for the guests.
Quiet and peaceful place. Well recommended! We will definitely be back

If you want the quintessential tropical unstressed venue, this is for you. The clever/restful design of the accommodation balances privacy with views and access to the beach. No better warm, peaceful, physically beautiful recovery contrast to the rigours of your working life. And then, if you want exercise, snorkel a lot, walk or run on the semi-deserted beach (no hustlers) or paddle their excellent canoes, or if you are serious, get Pa to walk you over the central mountains. Then there are the charming Rarotongans and their fabulous food, particularly the fish. Apart from anything else it is a relief to be in a place the Nanny State has not caught up with. Just relaxed cheerful comfortable live and let live. Ozzie.

Room Tip: bungalows at the front are right on the beach.

Just returned from perfect holiday at Royale Takitumu . A perfect location, customer service and accommodation. We could not fault anything. This is my second trip back and I am planning my next holiday ! Every thought and care, given by staff and management provided a perfect holiday with privacy in beautiful garden surroundings. The view of the lagoon from the Villa was unbelievable and the beach, a step away, was private and perfect for swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. I recommend Royale Takitumu as the best place for best holiday of your dreams. They know how to provide paradise and ensure you enjoy it.

Best spot on the island. Best service and best snorkel spot. Rooms are great. These folks know how to treat people right. They will bend over backwards to please the customers then fade into the background to let you enjoy your stay with them.. They are a wealth of information and will advise you on where to go and what to do.
