“Perfect for snorkeling”

Titikaveka beach in particular the Akapuao "Marine Park" has the best snorkelling as far as fish and shellfish viewing. The lagoon is deep, the beaches clean although I'd wear beach shoes as there are shards of glass in parts. I pick up the broken pieces and dispose in collection bins. The beach is easily accessible to the public.

Titikaveka is far more pleasant and not far from Muri, where it is a bit more touristy. Fantastic beaches, a great little cafe close by.

The amazing thing about Rarotonga is, you can be as busy or as lazy as you like, from swimming to snorkelling, to sightseeing, eating out or just having lazy days in the lounger chair reading a book by the sea, what an amazing place!

This is a beautiful beach to stay near and swim and snorkel in. There are so many fish, snorkeling is easy, kayaking is great. The water is warm and safe. We sat on our verandah and watched fish swim by - it really is amazing. Yet so fewpeople around.
