I did a trip with 6 other people in April. Almost as soon as we set off from Carbost a golden eagle flew across us and landed in a tree - Steve immediately stopped the boat so that we could try and get photos. Then we were just able to spot a sea eagle sitting on the next but he/she wouldn't be enticed down for fish. We carried on round to Talisker Bay to pause for coffee and suddenly found ourselves surrounded by a pod of dolphins. We abandoned the rest of the trip to stay and watch as they entertained us, swimming round and under the boat, jumping and diving with their young. It was one of the most magical experiences of my life. Steve's knowledge of wildlife is fantastic and he's a great host. i recommend the longer trip so that you see more of the coastline - the boat is very steady so it's a pleasant ride. Nobody can ever guarantee what wildlife you'll see on this type of trip but you can guarantee you'll have a good time, you'll learn lots and the views are spectacular. Will definitely be doing a repeat trip next time I'm on Skye.

We had a great couple of hours of fishing, eagle watching and informative chat with Steve who couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and has a real passion for what he is doing. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic 4 hours with Stephen on Wild Skye Boat trip exploring the dramatic coastline and searching for wildlife. Perched on her nest was a white tailed eagle which was a very special experience. We also saw numerous sea birds and seals. Stephen made us feel very relaxed and shared his knowledge with ease. The attention to detail with individual excellent binoculars and serving hot drinks all went to making it a superb and memorable trip. Highly recommended.

We had the most unbelievable trip with Steve. We had a Golden Eagle fly right over the boat to start with and then he landed in a tree and posed for us photographers. We also saw a White Tailed Eagle sitting on her nest but despite Steve enticing the male with a fish, he wasn't playing. We also saw lots of sea birds but The icing on the cake was the dolphins, we must have had around 20+ swimming and playing around and under the boat? Steve was a brilliant host. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone. Brilliant.

Wild Skye Boat is great experience for people who love fishing or just enjoying the beautiful nature. Stephen our captain was very kind and with great sense of humour. For three hour fishing trip we catch a lot of fish and saw Basking sharks , Salmon and Oyster Farm.
For full time of the trip Stephen share different stories from past trips and local specifics.
We was served hot tea and coffee. It was rememberable trip !
