Badiula is situated on an orange plantation, and the fragrance from the blossom and the wild flowers was amazing. We had a fantastic meal the night we arrived and had an early night as we had such an early flight to get here (4am). Unfortunately there was a party being held right beside our apartment which blasted out disco music until midnight! We were not happy bunnies!
The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms fab!
We were told the pool would be open but it wasn't cleaned and filled until half way through our holiday and there were no pool towels available - we were told to buy our own from the supermarket!
So if Badiula really wants to appeal to foreign tourists - get some pool towels, make the apartments terraces more private perhaps using trellis as screening, and include some basics to the kitchen area - condiments, oil, washing up liquid, chopping and bread knives for instance. And please warn that very loud music may be played from the restaurant area at times!

I stayed at this agriturismo for 4 days in September 2013 with my husband and two young children. This hotel has beautiful, well kept grounds, a large beautiful pool and a good sized restaurant where you can have both lunch and dinner. The food is abundant and excellent and at 15 euro for adults and 10 euro for kids including wine and water, it is also well priced. Our quadruple room was spacious and clean and was basically split into two floors which gave us even more room. The staff were also all very welcoming. Agriturismo Badiula is ideally situated to visit the must see Ortygia, Gole d,'Alcantara, Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla by car (all between 1 - 1.5 hrs drive) as well as being 15 minutes drive from a huge shopping centre.

We stayed in Agriturismo Badiula the last week of June 2013 with our two young children. Warm welcome, friendly staff, delicious meals in the restaurant, fresh orange juice from the farm, large swimming pool. Our two room apartment with connecting door and kitchenette was clean and spacious. The location is very strategic for daytrips & sightseeing in the Eastern part of Sicily.

Room Tip: There is a possibility to book a two (bilo) or three (trilo) room apartment with connecting doors

we spent 1 week in July 2013 at Badiula and highly appreciated the warmth at reception, the generous rooms and the genuine cuisine. The new resort is imbedded in the orange plantation and within 1/2 hrs drive of the baroque towns

We found Badiula by chance and are so happy to have do so. The staff is incredibly helpful. One young woman worked for a couple of hours to help us with the Internet connection. She also booked an excellent B&B for our next destination. We loved the dinner and breakfast was very good--yogurt, jams, jelly, honey, excellent croissants, cheeses, meats, eggs, oranges. You can easily make your own fresh juice. They made Cappuccinos for us. The rooms are large and well appointed by any measure. The bathrooms are big, elegant and everything is convenient. The prices are most reasonable. We will stay there again.

Room Tip: We staying in the new section. It was perfect.

Badiula is nicely located to explore eastern Sicilia, has nice and clean rooms & friendly staff. Good lunch and dinner for good prices. Breakfast is moderate (would expect more actually).
This agricultura is also used for weddings and congresses, which can affect the relaxing atmosphere. Sitting next to the pool with fully dressed wedding guests just 5 meter away is not pleasant. Staff initially even suggested we could not use the pool. If we were told beforehand about this wedding, we would have selected another lodge.

Room Tip: Make sure they don't have a wedding or congress
