We have just come back from a 3 night stay at the Old Exchange, my husband & I, my Mum and Dad and best friend and husband.
We loved the spaciousness of the flat, and having 3 en suites as 3 couples was great.
Everything you need is in the flat, kitchen fully equipped, living room comfortable and even has a dvd/blu ray player. Beds are comfortable as well.
It also has private parking which is a big plus as we had two cars and didn't have to worry about finding parking and paying for it by meter.
It is right in the heart of Corbridge, just 2 minutes from the co-op and bars/restaurants and the shops. We ate at the Errington arms, a five minute drive away and food there is excellent - ate there many times and cannot fault the food or service.
In Corbridge itself we ate at the Angel - again brilliant food and good atmosphere. We also ate at the chinese Artisam - and for lunch one day we ate at The larder a couple doors down from flat which has a good selection of local produce to try and buy afterwards.
If you dont have a car then the local buses to Hexham and Newcastle run from right outside the flat and are often.
We will recommend this flat to our friends and family - we will not hesitate to book again as had a great stay and if you need any local info/details then John is at hand to help.
Go and enjoy!

We had a lovely stay in this excellent holiday let. The furnishings were of a high standard and the owner, John, took great care to see that we were comfortable. The beds were to 5* hotel standard: how often can we say that in a holiday home. Corbidge itself is a lovely town and whilst the flat is in the middle of the town, the town is ver quiet after 10pm. Enjoy.

We wanted a base for walking Hadrian's wall - this flat was ideal, with the AD122 bus stopping outside. Corbridge is an attractive small town with good pubs shops and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The flat was spacious and well equipped and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends, and would also stay there again. If the Wall isn't what you are after then there is plenty of other history and countryside within reach, and National Trust properties to visit.

We have just spent a wonderful week walking along Hadrian's Wall, using The Old Exchange as our base. The accommodation was first class - spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was convenient to have the bus stop outside the apartment, which was within walking distance of the shops and some decent pubs in town, in particular The Black Bull provided good value for money. Further afield, we would recommend The Errington Arms at Portgate, just north of Corbridge.
