Impressive hotel in this relatively quiet part of Paris.
Rooms were clean and well equipped - only issue (for me) was inabaility to connect to the wi-fi system.
Good lively bar/bistro just outside the hotel but not too noisy.
Fantastic Moroccan restaurant nearby as well
Would definitely go back

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor

I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the past 5 years and it's really pretty good. The price is reasonable (card rate well over Euro 200 but good deals to be had), the people that work there are nice and the location is good - only 3-4 stops from Orly and about 40 minutes into the city. The downsides are that rooms on the lower floors facing the street suffer from noise from the smokers at the neighbouring restaurant - even when it's cold (until midnight) and the floors are all wooden so you hear everything on the same floor and above. Nothing a good pair of earplugs can't fix though. Oh, there's no restaurant and breakfast is a bit sparse - it's not really filled up very often.

Room Tip: Don't go for lower floors at the front of the hotel

stayed here for two nights for a paris break.... it is 23 stops from charles de gualle airport on the train... direct on line b...Get to croix de berny train station and it only 5 mins walk... it is 7 stops from Notre Dame saint michel metro station direct every 8 mins approx.. last train from Notre dame approx 10pm but check times. will get you back in good time. Supermarket next door and a chemist. Not many restaurants in antony. and if looking on a sunday nite bewared nothing really open...rooms spotless and big, very comfy bed, tea coffe facilites but bring extra sachets as in france they bit mean with them. Breakfast is 12.50 but didnt have it. really woudl recommend it as they rooms so spacious and clean with aircon and all the facilites inc. safe. really nice staff.. little bit out of the city but worth the extra 7 stops for safety and spaciousness.... beer in bar is very cheap 3.50 for bottle of beer.. very quiet there however. restaurant right next door and sandwich bar open during the week days. restaurant beer prices pricey.

Room Tip: Get the paris travel card 2, 3. or 5 day. Three day is 43 euro at ticket office. Get the 5 zone one...

I have stayed at the Hotel de Berny 3 or 4 times in the past few years. It is very convenient to the place where I conduct some business.

I find the hotel to be above average for 3 European stars. The rooms are large, clean and maintained. The smaller single/double rooms face an inner court and are more quite than the small suites which face the street. There are six floors with 8 rooms per floor and an elevator ( lift).

The 12 Euro breakfast is basic but offers something for most everyone: eggs and sausage for English, cheese and cold cut meats for Germans, and small pastries for the French. You might try negotiating the breakfast into the room rate, as most local companies have this arrangement with the hotel.

The staff for the most part is pleasant, although the night and weekend staff tends to be a bit less so.

There is a small food store just a block south which is very handy if you want drinks, snacks, food or a few sundries. The Vietnamese restaurant (mostly Chinese) about 4 or 5 blocks south is also recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the interior court away form the street.

Stayed here with my wife in a standard double room. The bed was large and very comfortable and the room contabied one easy chair, a coffee table and desk with another chair. There was a very clean bathroom with bath and thermostatic shower over it and a WC with seperate door to the bedroom. There was a minibar but no tea or coffee making facilities. The decor was modern, the hotel having been constructed in 2006. The outlook from the winows is good at both rear and front. And the heating more than adequate. The only dissapointment was the breakfast. For 12 Euro you would expect a much larger choice and better quality food. The scrabled egg obvioulsy had not been whipped enough before cooking and the coffee tasted a bit bland. We would stay there again but if the brakfast is not included in the deal, go further along the road where there is a cafe.
