A very nice welcome by Gabriel the owner. He or the rest of the staff (his wife and "la Mamma) don't speak English but thats not necessary they will help with anything you need! The rooms are spacious and clean the're not luxurieus but have everything you need. The beds are on a extra floor which creates a seperation between the kitchen/seating area and the bedroom.
Breakfast is buffet style with home cooking from La Mamma! Eggs, pasta and the dolces. Magnifico!
A real gem!

Off the beaten track enough to feel secluded, but close enough to everything that you don't feel left out

With views of Lake Garda from our balcony, and with the far side of the lake and the hills in the distance, we were impressed from the get go.

Staff were fantastic and although minimal English was spoken, we were made to feel welcome and they could not have been more friendly or helpful!

Breakfast is simple, but tasty and filling.

Rooms are likewise, but well appointed with everything you'd need for self sufficiency.

Grounds are well kept and spacious, with pmently of secure parking and come complete with 2 horses, 2 sheep, Chickens and a Dog .... The only thing that could make this place perfect is a pool .... There is more than ample room for one.

If we ever venture to this part of Italy again, we would have zero problems staying here again!

Cascina Reciago is situated about 3 km off a busy centre of Desenzano in a quiet, peaceful location and is immersed in greenery. It is an ideal place for those who prefer rural environment and a pure fragrance of nature. It can be a good starting point for trips in Lago di Garda region. The studios are designed with a built-in bedroom level, which makes the sleeping space separated from the living room. The guests can use a kitchenette equipped with a gas cooker and a fridge, but without an electric kettle. There is a delightful view of Garda Lake from a balcony overlooking an orchard.
The owner is a really nice guy ready to help any time you need. The staff does not speak English, but it does not really matter because they are extremely cordial and friendly. Everything is perfectly clean and, even though the building as a whole is an imposing structure, it is the cosiness that breathes from every corner.
