“excellent value high class hotel”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Wonderful spa-hotel in a refurbished middle age monastery, very near Verona Airport and 15 minutes drive from Verona center.
The rooms are comfortable, bedding is good, rooms are stylish and spa of excellent quality.
Although the proximity to the airport and to an industrial area would lead you to believe that this is going to be a bad surprise, it was exactly the opposite.I highly recommend this hotel if you have transport and you are in the Verona area.Go for it and you will leave this hotel with a smile.

Once you come to Verona, the first thing you think of is a room within the walls,
We think that place like La Torre worth the 15 min drive to the city,
You enjoy a well designed rooms, very very large, very comfortable, with beautiful pool and SPA area.
Breakfast very nice.
I didn't like the fact that they ask short hair men to use head cover to get to the pool, Not fun...

We arrived by car and parked in the hotel's free car park.

The reception staff were warm and friendly, the service in this hotel is at an excellent standard. Check in was efficient and informative.

The hotel very kindly gave us an upgrade on our room. Our room was huge, it had a massive bed and we had slippers and bathrobes. The room overlooked the courtyard, which is beautifully maintained. I think all rooms overlook this. The bathroom was a good size and had a wonderful deep bathtub and a shower.

The rooms are air conditioned and free wifi is available.

The hotel has excellent spa facilities for you to use for free. It has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, Turkish bath. You can also pay to have massages and other beauty treatments.

The breakfast was very good. The lady who served us each morning knew what hot drinks we wanted each morning and she was very friendly. There is a wide range of foods, bread, cheeses, jams, cereals and pastries. There is also eggs and bacon, but I found the fried eggs a little dry.

The hotel is very close to the airport but the aircraft noise was minimal, not enough to disturb our visit.

We hope to return one day to this lovely hotel.

This hotel is only 8km from city center, great price, rooms are big (suite 139 is fabulous) and amenities are great. One issue I would like to share is that they do not have irons (which seems to be recurring in Europe), they have none available ad if you wish to iron your clothes you have to pay for their service (5€/shirt). The spa was nice, got a pedicure during my stay, nail polish application was not great, she managed to smudge it and then had to repaint a couple toes (a little overpriced at 60€). The food at the hotel is very good except for breakfast but again it is very difficult to find good breakfast in Europe in general. The highlight was the large room and cleanliness of the place. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Verona or surrounding areas!

We had the most amazing experience from the minute we walked into the hotel until we had to leave. Upon check in we were offered complimentary glasses of prosecco and it gave us the most welcomed, appreciated feeling. We went to Verona for the opera and even though we hadn't booked the opera through Hotel Veronesi La Torre, they still went out of their way to shuttle us to and from the Arena, a service usually reserved for those who booked with the hotel. The hotel is very modern and relaxing and has an amazing spa with salt water pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and more! It is right near the airport, but we only heard one plane and that was while we were outside. Parking is private and free either outside near the entrance or underground. The continental breakfast was delicious and they even make espresso drinks to your order. We just loved our stay and applaud the staff for their excellence. And our barman, Tom, made us some delicious cocktails! Thank you, Hotel Veronesi La Torre!

We stayed at Hotel Veronesi La Torre for a night on the opera package. The hotel was good. Nice rooms, interesting decor. The staff was very hard working, especially the staff that worked the breakfast. It looked like a tour group was there and it was a little chaotic, but the staff worked very hard trying to replenish everything and keep all the guests happy. The location of the hotel is in an industrial area and you would need a car to stay there as it didn't look like a lot to do in the area, but with a car it was very easy to get to Verona.

Hotel is less than a mile from Verona airport and as we had rented a car it was very nice. Hotel has a lot of gardens, a very good spa/pool facility, a great breakfast an a very nice restaurant where we had twice dinner, it was fantastic. We stayed on a big junior suite and the noise from the airport didn't bother us. Staff was very helpful and after just a 10 minute drive we were on Veron downtown. Will certainly come back.

Room Tip: Get a junior suite. It is worth due the huge bed and the balcony for sunbathe.
