There's a panoramic view of Sant'Angelo and Maronti from three plant and flower-filled terraces. Casa Antonio is clean and simple, for people who appreciate no-frills and old fashioned hospitality. Abundant choices for breakfast including fresh-baked bread, homemade yogurt and jams, and lots of other good food. There's a homey invironment and the owners are courteous, accommadating, friendly, and helpful. There's a five minute walk to the beach, ten minutes for slow walkers, which adds to the tucked-away charm of this b&b, making it off the beaten path. There's wifi connection on the top terrace for those of you who, like me, can't go without internet. We will definitely return!

We stayed for a week in September 2011 and loved the place. Excellent service - they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The cold glass of water on arrival was much appreciated as was Erica offering to do our laundry. It was great value. Best of all was the terrace next to our room - a little piece of heaven with olive trees, pot plants, sun loungers and a south facing grandstand view over Maronti Bay, San Angelo and the moonpath over the Mediterranean. We also liked the steps down to the beach - far enough to make the House feel quiet but close enough to get there in about four minutes. You can also go up the steps to Testaccio and Barano 20-30 minutes...

Beautiful terraces with wonderful views across Maronti Beach and across to Sant Angelo. Very friendly service. The owners are able to talk in many different languages. Only 3 minute walk from the beach down a fairly steep path. Perfect for seeing Maronti and relaxing. The bus connections are frequent (every 10 minutes) however they only go in one direction so to see more of the island requires changes. This isn't a big issue if you purchase a multi day bus ticket as the busses provide a good view of the island. The Hotel is very clean and tidy with much work done to encourage a stress free stay. The breakfast provided is very nice and varied and if you ask nicely you may even get some fresh grapes and figs from the gardens surrounding it.

Room Tip: All rooms seem comparable, towards the front provide the broadest views.

I've visited Casa Antonio many times and it never ceases to impress. Lovely place to visit alone or with a group of friends - plenty of peace and quiet, incredible views, and a beautiful beach lined with restaurants serving what the sea has on offer. Outstanding! I'll be back.

Casa Antonio is a great place to stay. Great value for the money. A lovely family-run business. Thorough local information provided, available in many language (very fluent English, German, Russian, Italian!!) . The view from the window is fantastic. The rooms are very clean. Most of all, staying at Casa Antonio just makes you feel at home where you can totally relax and well looked after.
