We stayed at the Craigdene for two nights in July. The accomodation was excellent, large bed comfortable room and a fabulous sitting room with sofas and an open fire.A good reason to return in the winter when we could make use of these added extras.
The owner Fiona was the perfect host, helpful without being intrusive. The breakfast was home cooked to perfection.
When we had difficulty getting a taxi she insisted on running us to the resteraunt we had booked.
If you want to stay in modern sterile surroundings this is not for you, the house is full of character and you instantly feel at home.
Very seldom visit the same place twice but will have to make an exception in this case.

My partner and i recentley stayed for one night at the Craigdene while away for a friends wedding,
we were warmly greeted by fiona the owner who made us feel at home straight away. The house and the bedroom are immaculitly clean and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
The owner went out of her way to make sure that we were very happy......(a lovely lady!!)
I would highly recommend to anyone to book a few nights away here.

We stayed at Criagdene at the end of November and we would highly recommend this B&B to others. The Georgian house is on the main street in Colinsburgh and is beautifully decorated. The welcome is warm and friendly and the facilities are great. We spend a relaxing evening in the lovely first floor sitting room enjoying the open fire and the big comfy sofas. We stayed in the 'white room' with the ensuite wet room which was very comfortable. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be going back !

We stayed last week in the Craigdene B & B. We weren’t sure what to expect but the pictures looked great. We were pleasantly surprised as the B & B was warm, clean and very spacious.

The room itself was lovely with a massive private bathroom. The breakfast rage was good and the quality could not have been better.

Being November the weather was cold, but the B & B was lovely and cosy, especially with the Aga on in the kitchen.

We would definitely recommend the B & B even at this time of year as the walks and scenery are magnificent. It was a great base to explore the surrounding towns and beaches.

Fiona McNab runs an exceptional house. Although 'new' to the business of B & B she has thought of nearly everything and it is immaculately clean. The 3 rooms, 1 en suite and the others each with their own private facilities, (decent showers not 'drips')are large with very comfortable beds. There is a big lounge but as we were a party of 7 (a late addition upset the system) Fiona had made a bed up in the lounge area for the additional guest. Flat screen TV's, comfortable chairs, central heating.....

Excellent breakfast with a wide choice, promptly served; a local Pub suggested for an evening meal had a simple menu but what it lacked in choice it made up for in quality!
On site parking at the rear, a typical village shop across the road providing everything from a cash machine, newspapers, post office, food/drink etc..

A lot of 2/3 star hotels could learn a lot from the way this small B&B is run. A definite if you are playing golf around St Andrews...

We stayed 2 nights. Nice old house tastefully refurbished and cosy. Our bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom and lounge are adjacent to the bedroom which we had the sole use of.

Tasty breakfast!
