We stayed at Lama di Luna as part of our honeymoon. the place is an absolute gem. every detail is carefully thought out and custom designed. service is great and the owner is lovely.
this was the highlight of our honeymoon. if you go, you also must go to 'antichi sapori' restaurant in montegrosso, a couple of miles down the road. the best meal of your life.

An incredible find -- the Lama di Luna is enchanting. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The pool is breathtaking, and the breakfast is served in a charming room with views of the countryside. The owner is knowledgeable and ready with suggestions on what to see in the area. He even has designed his own suggested routes to follow to get the most out of the time you have to spend.

Two small things to note: (a) don't use Google maps to find this place -- the directions are incorrect. Better to use directions from the owner (b). Breakfast is wonderful, but it is the only meal served. Lunches and dinners have to be found offsite. The local town has some good places to eat and the owner of the biomasseria is willing to make suggestions and reservations in the area.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Don't miss it.

We stayed at Lama for 2 nights and we would have happily stayed for a week just for the beautiful bedroom and delicious breakfast. Pietro is a charming host who's rightly proud of his farm and has made it his mission to transform it into the organic oasis it is. The countryside is not much to shout about in comparison to Umbria/Tuscany but if you fancy chilling out in the middle of nowhere for a couple of days with one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at (run by Pietro's friend Ricardo) on your doorstep we couldn't recommend this place enough. It's a little gem in a forgotten part of Italy - and Pietro is currently building a beautiful pool and relaxation suite...with it's own underground sauna and jacuzzi next to the bed! Bliss.
