Lovely hotel, great staff. Couldn't do more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended! The rooms back on to the river in a 100ft gorge so if you keep the windows open you are lulled to sleep with the sound of flowing water. So restful.

It wasn't easy to find the Kokkino Spiti hotel in Veroia. It is located in the old Jewish area of the city, and accessible via small windy cobblestoned streets. But once you find it you will love it. It is a small old building of a hotel, nestled beside the old synagogue. The lady at the reception, Sylvia, was warm and welcoming when we turned up at the hotel, and very quickly made us feel right at home.

The location of the hotel is in the old quarter and pretty much walking distance to Peter's Altar and the shopping streets.

The room that we got was spacious and comfortable. The bed was a bit saggy but did not stop us from having a good night sleep. Like many hotels and Greece, there were no coffee making facilities, but you can call for some hot water. We did that late at night and was very pleasantly rewarded with not only hot water but a plate of cakes as well.

Certainly the hotel to stay in if you need to be in Veroia.

The hotel is situated at the most intriquing neighbourhood in Veroia, the old Jeuish Quarter. It is surrounded by beautiful renovated old houses giving the impression of living in another era. The river crossing the town, flows just behind the hotel, creating a very relaxing atmosphere when staying at the rooms overlooking it. Each room is differently decorated with taste and character. Being a small hotel it is very calm, perfect for relaxing but it is also a very good base for exploring the area, especially for visiting Vergina, which is a must see for every traveller.
The service is very good in any aspect making this hotel the best choice in Veroia.

Room Tip: Rooms with a balkony give the opportunity to relax at the sound of the river, but every room has a specialcharacter.

Nicest place we have stayed in for a while... Clean, well located. We got a room facing the river and the only sound we could hear was the river gushing... Was a very soothing sound.

Use this hotel as a base to visit Vergina & Mount Olymp. There were no hotel that were as nice as this one at both locations.

We arrived in Veroia without any idea of where to stay and found this place through Tripadvisor on site. Everything at this place seemed meticulously arranged by the owner; bed with real duvets, really friendly staff, perfect breakfast in the dungeonlike basement. Great for couples.
