With only five guest rooms, John and Margaret Lunney's B&B is a quiet, somewhat remote new construction in the midlands just South of Ulster. It's a bit of a ride from Shannon, but just 2 1/2 hours from Dublin. Nestled on a farm, it's a pleasant and well-run location for excursions in and around Cavan, the splendid cycling and touring route of the Tain Trail, or to Donegal or Antrim/Belfast.
The town of Cavan has all the shops for items you forgot to pack, and a bustling produce market in the parking lot off the business sector. An entirely pleasant though brief stay, June, 2005.
