“A tranquil haven!”
Reviewed September 27, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We visited for our wedding anniversary last weekend and had a lovely stay. Sam the owner was super helpful with my last minute request for no feather duvet (sorry!) and the property was lovely when we got there. Great views and a sweet balcony that really gives the tree house feel.
Thanks for a great stay :-)

Thank you for your kind words and for choosing to spend your anniversary at Treetops - so pleased you enjoyed your time with us. No worries about the feathers - I'm aware some people are allergic so I'm just glad I found out before you arrived and was able to swap them out without it impacting your stay! Hope to be able to provide you with a peaceful romantic setting again soon :)

“Lovely secluded hideaway ”
Reviewed August 7, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We wanted a peaceful getaway in a cosy location and that's what we got!

Friendly host, lovely area- not too far out to travel to places but far enough to be surrounded by farm land and animals and quiet. Lots of things to do on your doorstep, we visited Hastings for the day, herstmoncuex castle, lewes, middle farm shop (amazing!!) long man, bluebell railway and more.

Recommended places to eat- roebuck inn in lewes and radley in Hastings. We had a disappointing visit to the three cups inn for dinner so wouldn't recommend there to anyone.

The rooftops outside patio is lovely to have breakfast or a drink at night. The bed is so comfy and the upstairs lounge bit is cosy too. Everything you need in the kitchen as well. The bathroom is modern and spacious.

The spiral staircase is a little difficult to manage carrying food plates upstairs but you know about the staircase before booking and you get more used to it every time.

We would come again and definitely recommend to anyone. A lovely find!

“Fantastic reset, relax and enjoy”

Will definitely be booking again- with the boyfriend this time maybe, and I'll bring my violin!
Really did love it, and thank you so much to Sam for her hospitality. It was really nice to get away and also to see other people having a nice time too :)
Definitely gave us all a reset- and we all loved the shower, so much so we all ordered new similar shower heads while we were there!
We went to one of the pubs Sam recommended- the walk there was lovely as was the food, and the return trip made up for all the pudding- Sam was particularly helpful with recommendations and directions.
There were four of us all in need of some downtime and this place delivered. We were able to cook a full on meal and enjoy it on the balcony. Managed some tunes and relaxing, some walks, some stargazing, and close enough to the coast for a day at the beach.

“Cosy and Relaxive”
Reviewed May 22, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Me and my partner stayed two nights at Treetops and couldn't of asked for anything more perfect and wish we stayed longer! If you want a relaxive place to go, here is the place for you. Beautiful setting with amazing view of the garden and neighbours sheep and horses!

The place is small which makes it perfect for two people for a romantic get away and really lovely and cosy. Sam the owner couldn't be anymore helpful with anything we needed, although didn't have to ask much as she greeted us with all information and has notes dotted all around with everything you need to know. Hertsmonceux is a beautiful scenic location for country walks, castle visits and pure relaxation. Close to towns such as Hailsham for restaurants and supermarkets or Eastbourne, Hastings & Brighton if you want a bit more lively town and a visit to the seafront. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway in the country.

“Brilliant”
Reviewed April 27, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Had a very lovely stay. Mrs S made us feel very welcome and advised us to contact her if we required anything. The annex had everything we required and was very warm and homely.

Will defiantly visit again in the near future.
