Beautiful location fantastic view, unfortunately the view from our suit (which is a suit in name only as it differs not from any of the other rooms) had a view of a beaten up Citroen AX outside our window. We told that the room would have a kettle and coffee making facilities in fact we had only a plastic juicer of all things. The "mini bar " was un plugged so nothing was chilled, 4 star does not equal warm beer in my book. The jacuzzi tub was dirty, scum ring and the plug was missing, found the plug didn't fit ! After a bit of DIY fix we managed to clean and fill the tub, and it was nice, not really worth all the effort but nice all the same. The restaurant is very nice on the eye quite spatious which is a wonderful breath of and the staff friendly, however the house wine (normaly very nice periquita) is metal screw cap, nothing more to say about that really. I ordered the duck a chefs recommendation, but they didn't have it strange as it seemed there were not really much custom to have ran out, I would think a 4star establishment would stock what it recommends. I then ordered the sword fish with a special aguadente sauce from the region. The food was good sadly in place of the sauce I got a simple balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing with chunks of garlic in a shot glass when I asked for some salt I was given 3 little sachets of salt from KFC. The view from the restaurant and bar would be fantastic if only they opened before dark if had know there was a KFC in the area ???? Who knows. Strange we thought that breakfast would not be served in there that would be really spectacular, it would even distract you from the lack of breakfast. After dinner we returned to our suit (room 310) flicked the tv on saw a nice movie on and decided to go to bed. Oddly our bed room had a 311 sign on the door but we didn't really think to much of that little mystery, We then found that the tv in the bedroom although operated by the same remote as the main room had completely different channels. The mattress .... Well what can I say I've slept in more comfortable airplane seats, maybe its a sly attempt to boost massage sales at the spar. Breakfast was laking, cereals were stail, powdered eggs dry no melon no presunto and well for portugal that is criminal, yogurts out of date just terrible. When checking out we were asked by a very friendly lady and by her attire we assume the owner or manageress, did you enjoy your stay? To which we replied more or less, which was met with "thank you" no interest what so ever. The star rating of hotels is seriously flawed we have stayed in better run and cleaner ibis type roadside motels/hotels. Well worth the view not worth the money. Feels like a failed up market housing project failed and someone put up a wall an is trying to make a hotel of it.

Stayed in the "resort" for two in late May days in a "suite" and could not wait to leave, starting with an unaceptable long wait for an attendant to come to the reception and then process our booking (made weeks before); the resort, not easy to find as my TomTom could not find the street, seemed almost deserted excepted for two other couples seen latter; for an announced 4 star resort, the room given was cheaply decorated, stain riddled (walls, drapes, sofa), the fridge and microwave were way too filthy (and rusty for the latter, making it a health and risk hazard) and the indoor jacuzzi tub, when turned on the first time, literaly spewed brown blubber-like figments mixed with some hairs.
At check-in we were also told that breakfast would be served in the room; at the chosen hour (9am), no breakfast, no attendant. Breakfast was finally brought at 10am after complaint. On the second day, same episode, as "the previous (young) attendant forgot to mention" the 9am client chosen hour to the next day attendant! To finish it off, as a fierce non stop wind would not permit use the beautiful view outdoor pool, tried to relax in the indoor one but that was only possible if wearing a swimming cap, that, you got it, if you haven´t you can buy from them or else... At least tried the sauna, while trying not to get infected by the rusty nails hanging from loose pieces of wood inside! With all these exquisite experiences, we haven´t dared to try the restaurant, much less cook.
Overall, hats off for the fine marketing photos but no way the 4 star rating is justified or even the high price tag - the previous days stayed in a 5 star 2 stories villa in Obidos for much less than this so-called resort.

My wife and I spent a lovely week at Noiva do Mar together with friends. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the service, over all, is excellent.

The restaurant offers excellent fish and sea fruit dishes. A little work is required on the vegetarian menu, though. Fine choice of wines. Very fair prices.

We will certainly return, but meanwhile recommend the resort warmly.

Really enjoyed my time here.
Very friendly staff and very good appartment. Would strongly suggest a stroll down to the nearest beach, which is lovely.
Restaurant was very good although a bit pricey. Try their special award-winner desert, simply brilliant.

The resort is made for you to be able to no leave at all. If you seek relaxation, you have found the right place. The view is magnificent, the staff is kind and friendly.
The SPA is ok, not luxurious, but has a good mild water pool, a hot jacuzzi and sauna+turkish bath.
The massages are great, thumbs up for the staff!
The food in the restaurant is very good, they also serve glasses of nice wine (no need for full bottle). Food quality/taste is very good, even though deserts were only ok, maybe we were only unlucky on our choices.

There is 2 things I strongly think they should revise/change:

- there should be a cheaper solution for who did not bring swim caps for pool usage. If one did not bring the pool cap, the cheapest (and only) solution they have costs 8eur! The quality of the swim cap is good, but there should be a cheaper solution, on the supermarket, I would have a swim cap for 1 euro...

- in the restaurant, the price of the deserts is a complete robbery... it is not acceptable to charge 7.95€ for a completely standard desert... the price range goes between 7 and 10 eur, very very pricy

Overall, I recommend this place for a good rest, relaxation weekend, the full house apartment is a great plus for 4 people stay
