Pristine is the best way to describe this beautiful bungalow.. Clean rooms, obliging house help and an old world charm is ever prevalent ... To top it all is the view of a part of the Himalayas from your bedroom.. Would highly recommend visitors staying here...

Although my trip to Taradale was reduced to just 1 day due to personal reasons I thoroughly enjoyed the property for whatever time I could. Tucked away in the charming hills of Ramgarh this small yet beautiful property has an old world charm as well as scenic surroundings. Apart from the walk down (just 250 mts) ;) there was nothing I could find wrong with this sweet lil house. Amazing homemade food, large comfy rooms and amazing views welcome you with open arms. Would love to go back and spend more time there. Thanks for the hospitality !!

Room Tip: Room 5 next to attic has a skylight and is really beautiful !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Taradale . The cottage is ideal for a family getaway and is very homely and comfortable . The view from the cottage is splendid. We saw the most amazing flowers around the cottage. The decor is very impressive with little details looked into. Kids loved the trek around the cottage and were busy exploring the place. Great place to unwind and relax .

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking th valley . The view is breathtaking !!!

Vacationed at Taradale cottage this July with family, and chose this place after reading reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The place is marvelous. Its about a couple of kms down from main Ramgarh road and a small hike of a quarter kilometer to reach the resort, and has almost nothing near it. Which means no pollution, no noise, just 100% nature to enjoy. The place is surrounded by greenery and peach, pear and apple orchids. We had a taste of the fruits straight from the trees, and they were the best. The place has 6 rooms, all decorated differently. The decor is great, and is quite well maintained and decorated by the owner. The view from the resort is magnificent, giving full view of the mountains and even distant snow capped Himalayan peaks. There is a small garden overlooking the mountains and its the most relaxing place to sit at, after the rains.
The place is run by Omi, Pappu and a helper lady, all of whom take very good care of the guests. The food was excellent. It was mostly Indian home made types, but the variety and spread was good. I loved the non-veg dishes served. There are no tv's in the rooms but there is great book collection there. There is a pool table and variety of board games to pass time with the family. All the taals are about an hour from this place, and return cab ride is about Rs1000 per day trip from here. We visited all 4 during our stay here. Overall we had a very comfortable stay there and a completely relaxing vacation, especially towards the end when the resort was totally empty and we had the place totally to ourselves.

Room Tip: Room 3 has the best view, followed by room 2, especially of the sunrise in the morning. Room 6 is part of the attic, and a bit smaller, but offers quite a different experience. Room 1 is ground floor for the elderly. Room 4 has a balcony which we thought was essential in the monsoons.Room5 is the largest, and has a sky light.

Taradale cottage is the perfect place for a weekend break from life!! It's a secluded little cottage in the middle of fruit orchards with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the valley beneath. The service is very personal with a chef, a servant and a help lady running the show. It's like your own home, only with the luxury of the beautiful views, wonderfully cooked food and the seclusion of heaven !!

we travelled with friends and had two kids with us but the staff made us very comfortable, ready with anything and everything we needed for them at anytime ! Must visit place on the way to Mukteshwar !

Room Tip: There are two rooms that are on the first floor in the front of the house. Those have the best views.. try to get those
