We stayed for 2 nights in May 2013. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was clean and welcoming. We had dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent. There wasn't a huge choice, but there was enough to choose from. We both had halibut, and it was cooked beautifully. Unfortunately, it didn't stop raining, which is hardly the fault of the hotel, but it meant that we had limited options after dinner for a walk so we found the location a bit isolated. The bed was not the most comfortable one that we have ever slept in, but the room was bright and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities
