Caught up with friends for meal at Christmas. Restaurant fully booked as you would expect at this time of year. Tables very close together so would not be the place to go for a quiet intimate dining experience.
Waitress service was sparse. Felt sorry for the two young girls who were on duty as they were clearly rushed off their feet (and a little inexperienced too). As a consequence we waited ages for menus and even longer before drinks arrived. Food however when it arrived was delicious. I had chilli crab fettuccine. Others had kangaroo salad (and having seen it arrive I would probably order myself next time), and steak. All meals were delicious and polished off with a lovey ( and reasonably priced Shiraz from the wine list). It's been a while since we've been to Tranquillo's and I'm really not sure why as its definitely better priced that some of the nearby restaurants and a good atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation without competing to be heard over the music.
