Adjacent to the Royal Crescent, it is a perfectly round park with a huge tree in the center, bordered by again curving buildings along the perimeter road. Just relaxing under the tree and watching the comings and goings was a treat!

We were in the B&B next door and ate & Drank in here on the Friday night . The ale "Gem" was very good but the food was even better. I choose moules for starters wow the were some of the biggest tastiest mussels I had ever had. followed by Steak and Ale pie once again I was not dissapointed. Highly recommended

Arrived at 8p.m. A lot of dishes sold out , which you were not told before making our choices, therefor we only ended up having mains. Waited around an hour an 15 mins for food , only to be told just before its arrival that they had run out of chips to go with the fish and chips !!!!!!!!!!! I had fish broth which burnt my mouth to the extent of excruciating pain!!!!!! List of negatives is endless ....... Avoid at all costs!!
P.s not cheap either!

Lovely friendly pub with great atmosphere. The fries weren't up to much but the chunky chips that came as part of the fish and chips were AMAZING and the duck in a red wine reduction with dauphinoise potatoes was perfect.
