Just returned from a weekend break at belmont house b&b in Beer, we dont usually do b&b`S as we feel that we are imposing, but as we couldn`t find a hotel at short notice we booked this b&b as the pic`s looked nice etc etc. Well the room was gr8 and clean and everything that you needed was there plus some nice touches with the towels and choc`s on the bed, bottled water etc. breakfast was yummy and SIMON/PETER the owner was a good laugh and we did not feel unwelcome or as if we were imposing atall.... A+++++++++++++++++ we will defo return. A BIG THANKYOU :)

Room Tip: the downstairs room we stayed in was very nice but the window backed on to a small passageway opposi...

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Belmont House and can honestly say it was faultless. Fab location, amazing breakfasts (make sure you try the house special – Alan you’re a star!), amazing hospitality from the owner Simon (nothing was too much trouble) and the rooms have everything you need for a perfect stay in Beer. You couldn’t want for more from a B&B and the value for money was unbelievable, definitely worth a stay...and if you time it right you can even have your breakfast out on the terrace enjoying the sunshine and watching the world go by. An absolute must to return too.

Room Tip: The blue room was definitely the biggest but they all offer the same level of facilities.

Spent 3 nights in this lovely B&B...what a find! Our room was absolutely superb and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were fantastic, would totally recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning!!! Beer itself is a beautiful and unspoilt location, really loved it...

This was a business trip and unfortunately was only for one night. Myself and four colleagues stayed here, each in a clean pleasant room with everything on hand you could need. Breakfast was excellent and the location stunning. Only a shame we only had one night there.

Just returned after spending a few days at this excellent B&B with my husband & father in this pretty fishing village . We were made to fill very welcome from the start by Simon the owner & Alan the chef. Our rooms were lovely , such a fresh feeling to them, so bright & so many lovely touchs added. The breakfasts full english made to order, the bacon & tomotoes were to die for, presentation on the plate was excellent .Simon advised us to take a trip to Branscombe beach , well worth a visit, throw in a pint or two at the Masons Arms before heading back what a lovely day had by all.
Over all 10/10 for our stay it was just great . shall be returning & recommending this perfect place to stay.Diane Robbins BRISTOL

A small B&B, but great service. The Belmont is run by Simon and chef Alan cooks your breakfast for you in the morning. Try the mackrel its delish!! The rooms are colour themed , ours was the 'blue room' It is one of the larger rooms and very well decorated and spotlessly clean. There was everything you would expect in a room and several other nice extras. A very nice short break we hope to return in the future. Beer is a small village with an amazing selection of very good resturants! The B and B is only moments from the beach and all the places to eat.

Room Tip: The Blue Room is great, there is also one down stairs bedrooms if stairs are a problem.

I have just spent 5 days in this top quality B&B. My room was finished to a very high standard and very comfortable too. The breakfasts were not only very tasty (best tasting tomatoes and bacon, I have had a for a long time), but were served beautifully - not a drop or splash of grease or oil on the plate. The chef is a very nice guy too, as well as being able to cook.

All in all, I heartily recommend this little gem as a place to stay.

Room Tip: I think they must all be good. I think it must be a question of size of room and size of party. I...
