Owner description: Exploring one step further. Live your Easter Island adventure the way you imagined it. Feel more of the island spirit and atmosphere through our wide array of tours. Tours are offered in fluent English, Spanish and Swedish. The agency is owned by Marcus Edensky (one of the very few non-natives throughout history ever to learn to speak the ancient Easter Island language Rapa Nui fluently) and by local Alicia "Makohe" Ika (musical artist and surf instructor, famous from Hollywood-directed environmental surf movie 180° South).

“Excellent guided tour with Marcus (in english, not private)”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We booked a tour with Marcus Edensky and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a small international group (6 people). Marcus is a Swedish guy who is married to a Rapa Nui woman. He seems to have read just about anything there is about the history and culture of Easter Island and shared all this knowledge with us. By taking this tour we enjoyed the island so much more: on your own you miss a lot of things. The best thing about this tour was the fact that Marcus didn't rush us in any way. We could take all the time we wanted to take photographs and just enjoy being there. On top of that he manages to create a nice atmosphere in a group of strangers, which made teh day very pleasant. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another tour with the same group a few days later. We can recommend Marcus and Easter Island Traveling without any hesitation!

“Private tour on Easter Island”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

We took a full day private tour on Easter Island January 4, 2013 with Easter Island Traveling and it was wonderful! Make sure you bring your camera and good walking shoes! Marcus Edensky, owner of company, took us to Ahu Vaihu and Akahanga, where king Hotu Matu'a is buried. Then to Te Pito Kura where the biggest moai is raised. Next , Marcus took us to Anakena Beach where his family BBQ'd chicken and fish for our lunch. After that we headed to the volcano of Rano Raraku, where almost all of the monoliths were carved. Down from there was the largest stone platform that 15 moai's were standing on top of. It was a great experience for us and Marcus did a great job.
