Our second stay at Casa Lola. Now we've been in both summer and early Autumn. The seasons here are so different. It really is super-luxurious now the extension is finished. Before it was cosy now it's a cut above. The first thing is the view which is to die for. You can see mountains, valleys, Big Sky, stars at night, cherries and olives. Waking up in the morning to that vista is so lovely. And brilliant for small kids who have every last toy, wendy house, swing and trampoline they could ever want. The local restaurants have such well-cooked food and are very reasonably priced. But the kitchen means you are quite happy cooking for yourselves. Bellissima!

Nine of us stayed at Casa Lola in August and we all loved it. So much so that we have booked to go back again! The photos don't do justice to the spectacular views of the countryside, including the Sibilline Mountain range, and are the best of all of the properties that we have stayed at in Le Marche.
My family have been visiting Le Marche for 18 years and this was my 11th visit to a region which I adore. If you haven't been to Le Marche, you should visit. Aside from the countryside, there are fabulous medieval towns and even more impressive local restaurants. Although most of the waiters/waitresses now speak some English, the region hasn't become touristy like some of its neighbours.
The location of Casa Lola is rural and this for me equals instant relaxation. The house is well decorated and relaxing. It has plenty of seats and seating areas for groups larger than ours along with a number of good facilities - including a huge selection of DVDs for both adults and children (don't bother taking your own). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms plentiful and nicely done. The play barn is a great addition for rainy days (which we were lucky few and far between), particularly the trampoline. The children loved the swimming pool and we all got in the pool several times a day. And the swings and sand pit got a fair amount of use too! As we were travelling with a seven month old, we made good use of the offer for baby equipment - steriliser, baby bath, changing mat etc etc. This made such a difference to previous holidays!
The house is managed by Marina and she is very helpful and welcoming. She was very willing to help out with a number of queries that we had and this added to our holiday.
I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Lola.

We stayed at Casa lola in august, with my husband and 3 children [7,4 and 3 years old]. The first thing that strikes you when you arrive at Casa Lola are the amazing views - from every aspect of the villa. Perched up on a hill in Le Marche, Casa Lola has a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility as the only sounds are the birds and the local farmer tending to his apple orchard that surrounds the property. Inside, the villa is very comfortable but also super stylish as each room has been individually styled by the owner.
The Kitchen is well equipped and one can cook, looking out onto the terrace, soaking up 'those views'.
The pool is a few steps down from the terrace with a fence. The other brilliant addition is the 'barn'. This is a huge barn full of family friendly play things... a huge trampoline, table tennis , pool table, basket ball hoop and a young children's play area, with a kids play kitchen etc etc [ my children loved this barn!]. I always felt the children were safe here and left them free to roam around the grounds searching for geckos.
There are lots of things to do around the area, but our two favourites were visiting san martini a town 5- 10 minute drive away ( - imagine perfect italian hilltop town with no tourists but first class restaurants], and then tennis in Amandala, another gorgeous town about 15 mins drive away.
Overall an utterly gorgeous villa that that been designed to accommodate groups of adults but has also thought of everything a family might need.
