Can't fault this B and B. Rooms were lovely, fantastic goose down pillows and duvet, had the best sleep. Spotless throughout. Also had a gift of homemade cupcakes waiting for us which is a lovely touch. Breakfast was served with home baked rolls and eggs from the backyard hens. One of the best b and bs we had stayed in. Highly recommended.

John and Glen excel themselves in making you feel welcome and at home. Attention to detail in every aspect. Comfortible room with a lovely view of the lake and a huge bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely go back.

Breakfast is a hit, with different menu every day (that includes a weather forecast). Freshly baked rolls every morning with homemade marmalades and jams. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sorrounding areas.

I recommend the Pottery House without hesitation.

My husband and I have stayed in many UK hotels and B&Bs and this one was near perfect as the bedroom + bathroom had more of our boxes ticked than any others. Here are a few of our criteria that were met:

Space to move about, in bedroom and shower room
Chairs in both
Excellent storage, that swallowed up not only our clothes but also our massive number of bags (my husband does not know the meaning of travelling light)
Hooks on doors and in bathroom
Generous hospitality tray and fridge in room
Plenty of power points
Lovely view (of the garden and woods)
Lovely, sweet smelling bedding - there is nothing worse than stale smelling bedding and cushions!

Plus
An excellent breakfast with a floor show provided by the birds on the feeders and two helpful and friendly hosts.

I recommend the Pottery House without reservation.

Set back from the main road, ideallly situated for exploring the local area, only a short drive from Inverness and just a stroll from The fabulous Dores Inn. John & Glen were great hosts, friendly, welcoming and only to happy to offer advice on travel/visiting in the area. Our room was immacutely clean (as was the rest of the house) the bed was beautifully made with good quality bed linen and one of the most comfortable we have ever had the pleaseure of sleeping in away from home. Breakfast was delicious (especially the potato cakes) and as good as you'd expect in a 5* Hotel with a new menu and different freshly baked rolls each morning, I only wished I had made a longer booking so we could stay and try them all.

Room Tip: We had the front bedroom which has a view across loch ness and was definitely spacious enough to be...

A warm welcome on arrival. Had a brilliant 3 night stay. Had something different every morning for breakfast and the standard was excellent. Rooms big and spacious clean and tidy. Well worth a visit as location ideal for touring. We will be going back again soon.

We stayed for one night, following recommendation from previous users. I spent over 20 years with Hilton Hotels and can say without doubt, the guys attention to detail and standards are exceptional. From check in to the splendid room, with home baked cakes awaiting, outstanding cleanliness and a great welcome it was really good value for money and a great experience. The home baked rolls for breakfast with delicious bacon and black pudding, if that is your thing, complimented by a fresh laid egg, was delicious. I must have experienced over 2000 nights away from home, bith at hotel and at guest houses, this rates very very highly. Well done gentlemen

Room Tip: Get a view of the Loch...wow
