The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. A DVD player would have been helpful as there were no English channels on the TV. Sadly the view from the lounge was disappointing as Feurtaventura is so barren. Trees, birds and greenary on short supply. It rained every day and there was very little to do. We did visit a fishing museum and that was about it. I got through 3 books though!
Beautiful new, clean and cosy apartment kitted out from IKEA with washer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, etc. Private pool and Internet (fitted on day 3 of our stay). We could sit on the balcony overlooking the pool or watch the goats on the hillside outside. We needed the hire car we were recommended to reach El Cotillo from the airport, but there was easy parking right outside the door. Beaches and restaurants and supermarket are all in easy walking distance but the car enabled us to travel around the other local towns and beaches too. Local food and drink very cheap and very good. Lovely restaurants overlooking the harbour. To watch the sunset. Everyone very helpful and pleasant.
The owner texts replies to questions very promptly. Could do with a full length mirror and maybe basic instructions for opening the door, disposing of rubbish, where to find a cash machine, etc. But minor point - lovely safe holiday for mum and two grown up daughters.
