Me and my boyfriend (age 18 and 19) just returned from staying here for a week, the hotel is poor, definitely not worth the amount we paid, we wouldn't return to this hotel and wouldn't recommend you stay here.

Good points...
-Large pool.
-Snack bar open all day.
-Beautiful beaches outside.
-Animation team are all lovely and don't pester you to get involved if you don't want to.
-Bar staff lovely.
- When rooms were cleaned they were very well done.
- Supermarket just outside hotel.
-Breakfasts.
Bad points...
-Pool is FREEZING.
-Soft drinks are not real brand, which wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't taste like pure sugar and water. Lemonade is the best to get.
- Orange juice at breakfast is so strong, you need to put water in.
-Cleaners knocking you up at 8.30am.
-Struggled to get a sunbed some days but others were ok.
-Only 6 umbrella's around the pool which don't do much anyway.
-Boring town, nothing to do at all, there are bikes you can hire and buggy's but we found them very expensive for what you got. There is a bus stop around the corner, No.8 bus takes you to corralejo for 3.10 euros, takes about 45 mins/ an hour, we ended up doing this most days and going to the shops. The bus runs every hour on the hour.
-Entertainment on an evening was either a terrible band who only sung in spanish or a quiz night which was actually ok. There was no karaoke done while we was there.
-The bar where all the entertainment is done on an evening is also open to the public, so queues can get big and you can be waiting around for a while, also if you don't get there early enough they'll be no seats.
-No balcony on our room (2226)
-Building work going on underneath us.
- Beds were so uncomfortable, only one thin pillow provided.
- No air con, just a fan that did nothing at all.

Worst bits...
-Mosquito's and cockroaches in our room, got bitten to death, was kept up nearly every night by the mosquito's biting us and flying around us, we ended up having to go down to reception at 2.30am and ask if we could change rooms because it was that bad, but we was told by a VERY rude male member of staff on reception that there was nothing he could do about it and told us to go to the shop and buy some spray, which we had already done, he also asked if we thought we were the only ones getting bitten and then proceeded to tell us its normal for it to be like this and everyone has the same problem, while laughing. I have been abroad countless times in my life and never have i experienced anything like this with mosquito's, of course i know that there are going to be some, but i've never had multiple ones flying around my room and biting me all night long, to the point where it wakes me up and keeps me awake all night. It was ridiculous. We never had our window open either so god knows how they got in, must have been when the cleaners came. The next morning we went to see the manager and she gave us a plug in to help with the problem, but it was our last night so it didn't really do anything for us. There was also cockroaches in our bathroom.
- Food, well if living off soggy chips and dry salad is what you want then you'll like it here. Some of the fish that was freshly cooked was nice but had huge bones in so you hardly got any meat, then one night it was way under cooked, so we didn't have any more, bread was nice, tuna was nice but thats it. The rest was vile, stewed pork was black, cooked tuna was green/brown, 'chefs delight' was a dish out everyday, which looked absolutely disgusting!! Red or white watery liquid with peas and god knows what else in. Pasta was nice plain, the sauces on the other hand, we didn't try because they were either black and clumpy, white and clumpy or red and clumpy. Mexican night, plastic cheese, stale tortilla crisps, bland chilli with god knows what in. Every other food we tried was bland and cold, don't even try the cauliflower cheese...

We went to this hotel with low expectations and what we got was lower than we expected, we are not fussy eaters and we don't complain easily, but this was just the worst hotel we've ever been to and we would never return.

Room tip: You don't want room 2226, no balcony and infested with mosquitos and cockroaches.

I'm currently on holiday here, I booked last minute so I wasn't expecting something to lavish but I paid enough money to expect a change of food each day. Sadly not the food is absolutely shocking if your an English tourist you are not catered for what's so ever you'll find yourself eating fries or pasta every day, you get one meat choice that's probably rabbit or some sort of Dutch sausage, if you like fish the fish that is served here is actually quite nice but once again you'll get bored of it.
I'd love an Italian night or some sort of different night.
Rest of it is brill though, beach is absolutely fantastic.
One major upside is it's very windy to you'll always be cool! But don't be fooled just because it's windy doesn't mean your not burning away "partner made the mistake of not putting suncream on due to it been cloudy" his mistake.

In general our impression was good, especially for the reasonable price. Food quite good apart of fruits and breakfasts could be bit better. Rooms very good, cleaness very good as well.
Entertainment - we were not really bothered as spent most of the time outside the hotel during the day, but if I'd had to orginise time for my children (who were 3 and 1 at the time) my review would most likely be much lower, as said in the title- its not very family orientated hotel.
small, nice and clean - good quality for the price, if looking for exciting holiday with plenty of entertainment - defo not for you, if you are happy with quite, nice, clean and reasonably cheap - then perfect.
big advantage - lagoons, surfers beach and tiny quite town with few restaurants for an evening walks.

This is a nice small hotel & the rooms were clean and is in a very quiet area. It is suitable for older couples that just want a relaxing time but as I had teens with me they had nothing to do, most of the games equipment was broken or wasn't working. The food is minimal & was repetitive to the point that you knew what was going to be out, tin tuna or sardines, salad, chips, pasta, rice and either a cooked fish or meat which were all cold, at lunch & dinner. On many occasions the dishes were empty but not refilled for ages. Desert is a choice of jelly, instant whip, tinned fruit & ice cream. The inclusive snacks were a few biscuits & cakes or left overs from lunch. The evening all inclusive was in a bar attached to the hotel but also open to the public so it was hard to get a drink as only 2 staff on most of the time. Entertainment was nearly non existent as football was on most nights, a couple of times karaoke was on but was terrible & another night was meant to be a live group but it was more like a funeral service, even if you spoke to your friends or asked for a drink the staff told you to shhh they were so rude & most never spoke any English. The best & nearest beach was a nudist beach but it was quite discrete. There is a harbour a short walk away with a few bars & restaurants & few shops outside the hotel. The pool was very cold & quite deep so if you are a non swimmer under about a metre it might be a bit difficult as the only other pool was about 6 inches deep, really only suitable for toddlers. There is not much shade as there is only about 6 fixed umbrellas which were not much use. This hotel is in need of much tlc.

Room tip: Opposite the reception had the afternoon sun & pool view.

Out of 3 entertainers i would say out of the 3 only yelana (the 20year old Spanish girl) is the only actual entertainer ,the male only seems to talk to girls and the other girl doesn't seem to do much or turn up for activities on time. The food seems to alternate between two days however the waiters and waitresses are excellent. Night entertainment isn't great and even tho we was told there was bingo there isn't any. Lets hope this improves dramatically before the rest of the British public come as right now i would not recommend this to anyone .
