Fabulous beaches, take your pick of the busy beaches nearest town, a real mix of Spanish and other nationalities with a lovely casual atmosphere, or go further round the bay for your own little cove

Sand is golden, rock pools have octopus, loads of fish and all sorts of sea life to look for, sea was a little cold for a nice swim in April, but is ideal for kids, very calm and lots of nice shallow areas

Loved it, cant wait to get back soon

Seemingly endless, beautiful beaches. Perfect mix of volcanic bizarre looking rocks and Sahara sand. Lots of space for anything you like: swimming, relaxing, be for yourself, meet people, taking walks, pictures, camping and so on. You name it!

i agree with people who say god exist !
cause only god could built a spot like EL COTILLO.
The view from the lighthouse is one of the most beautiful i ever seen since long time.
you are overhanging above the sea with a hot wind who warm you up and make this a magic moment !!!

great spot for surfers :)

Great landscape, great views, great surfing. A must. Mind that there are reserved zones for swimming, surfing, wind-surfing and kite-surfing - so please read the signs and respect the sports zones.

Decided to get the local bus to El Cotillo which took half an hour. What an excellent decision as it is a very pretty fishing village. The walk to the laggoons is a long one but well worth it.The water is so green. We had a glass of wine at a bar by the sea and watched the world go by.Well worth a visit.
