“Great location and great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

We dined here twice, once for lunch and once for an evening meal - we drove back later in our holiday from Corralejo to eat somewhere "different". The restaurant is on the old harbour front in el Cotillo, with a great view over the harbour and out to see. Lunch was excellent, the red tuna steak was delicious and the film pastry cheese was the best on the island! For the evening meal, we had prawns which were huge and fresh, and steak which was delicious. Service was good despite being busy. For the best seats, though, it is best to make a reservation!

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

Wonderful location, lovely view over the bay.
Very nice starters, nice salads, fresh fish, meet is not really what you have to order in Fuerteventura, but that's the same for oder places...
simple and nice.

“An extremely pleasant evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

If you read the poor reviews about a restaurant you sometimes learn more about the reviewers than about the food. We approached this one with some reservations but were absolutely delighted with the reality. Smart and stylish, neat and tidy staff mostly young enough to be enthusiastic! I was amazed to read of poor service here - certainly not what we found and the staff made up a good part of the dining experience as staff often do if you treat them well and try to engage with them.

One of the main reasons we dined here was because they actually offered a dedicated vegetarian section to the menu, even more unusual given that the owner is French and they are not known as being veggie-friendly. Our shared main course was a caramelised vegetable "tarte tatin" which were advised would involve a wait - so at least we know it was freshly made and well worth the wait. All the food was beautifully presented and we will certainly return on our next trip to El Cotillo.

Just a word for the fish eaters - you will find here a selection of fish which you will not be familiar with in the UK end even different to that found on mainland Spain so it might be wise to discuss it with the waiter before being served something you did not expect. Visits to the chill cabinet with diners is a regular thing!

“Amazing food and scenery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2014

Went her on recommendation, arrived was so busy didn't think we would get a seat after about 15 minutes there was a table free, service was good the scenery was lovely. Starters was excellent and very well presented. We waited a while for the paella as they were busy but we weren't in a rush and it was amazing well worth the wait. Yes is was quiet expensive but the whole experience was worth it.
