Went to El Cotillo for the day and found this cafe just off the harbour. We ordered some tapas and ended with a table full of fantastic food. Luckily the prices are very cheap. The paella is brilliant and the seafood is amazing good range. The staff were very friendly and the food was cooked fresh to order. We sat there for ages with beer and good food what a day will be there in Dec.Cant wait best Canarian food about.

We found this cafe by default. We ordered a drink first, then watched the Paella's and Prawns
being served. They looked yummy, infact they were yummy as we stayed and had lunch there.
We even got the bus back there later in our holiday to try the Paella again!!. We have even booked our next holiday in El cotilla so that we can sample some of the other food on the menu.
The staff were really friendly, the service great and the atmosphere was great on both visits.

Genuine canarian food is provided in Tapas or "normal" sized portions. The waiter got a little overwhelmed but our food arrived quickly. I ordered a "menu del dia" portion of paella and my husband the mussels and prawns. All was very tasty and served with garlicky mojo sauce, canarian potatoes and tomatoes. Portion size was enough so that were leftovers. Location must be seen to be believed, next to the statue of fishermen overlooking the old harbour on a traffic free cobbled street. Wish we'd had tapas to try more dishes.

Situated in the old harbour, very picturesque whilst having a snack and a drink. A bit noisy when instructions to the waiting staff are being given but could possibly add to the atmosphere.
