This place was suggested and i am glad i took the time to check this place out. Small restaurant down an alleyway which surprises you with their sensational fully packed of flavours plates.

Doesn't look like much from outside but let their food talk. Well recommended.

A real surprise. From outside it didn't seem very appealing. Inside was a warm welcome and excellent food. We had a lovely evening trying food with a twist and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food .

I really wanted to like this more. It is a small set up clearly wanting to be different to the usual offerings and first impressions were positive. We had walked past earlier in the week and only a couple of tables were occupied but on Saturday night probably 20 including us. A nice welcome and choice of inside or out in the terrace. Presented with the blackboard menu with a nice choice of starters and mains. Heavy bias on fish and seafood which was good. Wine list starts at 12 euro so not too bad.

So why only three stars? We talked it over and again in the morning and it is something about the restaurant craft that is missing. This could be lack of experience

First the food is nice and tastes good but nothing you can’t cook at home. Other reviews talk about a changing menu but most of the dishes described were on the menu last night.

Second service, there is only one person so it was slow. A bowl of bread would have helped cover the wait for example. Waited ages to ask for the bill so I missed out on a coffee and they missed out on a tip.

Finally atmosphere, a chilled-out vibe is rather overwhelmed by very bright lighting, a dimmer would make all the difference.
So nothing that can’t be fixed and good luck to the guys running this. Get another person when you are busy, think about the menu a little more and turn the lights down.

Very impressed. A lovely bar in a bistro style. Great décor and super service. Food is excellent and most certainly worth a visit. Tucked away near the primary school but certainly worth straying from the sea front to find. A hidden gem.

We had the Kiko Chicken and Crunchy Prawn starters. Both delicious but perhaps ask to miss out the coconut butter on the prawns depending on the type of sunscreen you have been applying during the day. Personally, I had no problem!
We had Red Curry Veal and Meatballs for mains. Both delicious. Meatballs are different to what you normally get. Almost like Thai fish cake in texture but made up with layer of different meats. Very succulent and quite filling. The curry had just the right amount of kick.
Finally shared a chocolate mousse. Tasty and light.
Waiter was friendly and helped choose the best wine. Not the most expensive on a reasonably priced wine list (which is always good) but it was just what we were looking for to complement the main courses.
