We stayed in The Residences and arrived the morning before the worst storms to hit the region for many years arrived that evening. This was an extreme weather event and the main hotel (& some apartments) were left in a state of disrepair (wet carpets, water dripping from light fittings, toilets out of use etc). We were without running water for over 24 hours from Friday morning to Saturday lunchtime and again for all of Saturday evening; disappointingly we received no information and we were not provided with any drinking water during this time. We, like other residents, had to fill up buckets from the swimming pool to flush our own toilets. We appreciate that the hotel could not prevent the lack of water supply, but the lack of drinking water (we bought our own from the local Spar) created a health hazard and meant that many residents used the swimming pools to clean themselves. Anyone due to visit in the next few weeks should contact the hotel to check the situation before considering a change of venue.

The extreme weather did not however excuse the following:
1. We were not offered any transport to our apartment from the hotel reception, which meant that we had to carry our luggage and golf bags around 500m both on arrival and on departure; this would be impossible for some people.
2. Our apartments were clean on arrival but never cleaned whilst we were there, toilet rolls & towels were not replaced during a four night stay (& we were not offered a cleaning facility for extra cost).
3. One safe could not be locked and the another could not be unlocked.
4. Breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning was served in the main restaurant, the food choice was excellent but the room is quite small, which led to a wait of up to 30 minutes for a table. On Sunday & Monday we were served breakfast in another room, the breakfast choice was very limited compared to the main restaurant and we discovered that the carpet in this room was still very wet in places.

The above points are not in any particular order, but the lack of assistance from the hotel and being left to fend for ourselves, was unacceptable.

Thought a month in the sun would be great how wrong I was we were subjected to gangs of builders renovating buildings for the whole month from 8am (sometimes 7am) until 8 pm. No thought for anyone on holiday the owners apparently where aware of what was happening but chose to keep quiet as they were well away from it all. I have enquired since I have returned home to find it is still going on it was a terrible experience and I feel sorry for anyone who has booked accommodation already.
If you have booked a house you should be alright as it seems to be concentrated on apartment blocks and it going to happen to all of them on the resort. If you want a peaceful holiday don't go, you cant afford to play golf everyday to get away from it.

Was our second visit to this complex in as many years. Rooms were spacious, clean, air conditioned. Towels and bedding changed twice in the week we were there. English buffet and continental style breakfast was included from the main hotel which l found very nice. The golf course was exceptionally good. The complex is connected to 6/7 other golf complexes which can be booked as a package.

The hotel was great. But we were staying at the Residencies..
If you’re staying at the Residencies, but want to hang around the hotel area/bars/restaurants then be prepared to feel like you’re an outsider..

After we checked in at the hotel reception we were taken by minibus to the Residencies. About a 5 minute drive around the edge of the resort where we’d stay for the next 3 nights..
At this point, the concierge never mentioned that the small pool we had was the only one we could use.. or that it was a 15 minute walk to the nearest shop. There was no transport from the hotel or the shop back to the apartment.. you’d have to lug your purchases on your back and walk it out in the 33 degree heat. Anyway.. I digress..

We got to the apartment door and the handle fell off.. (this was reported twice but never fixed) luckily you could get just enough purchase on the remaining rod to twist it open and lock..

Only a minor issue, but with 6 men staying in a 3 room apartment together the beds were so awkwardly close that if I rolled over in the night I’d be inappropriately touching my roomies sunburnt cheeks.. we moved them against the walls and left a small gap big enough to fall down in case this happened..

Another minor issue was no coat hangers and only enough shelving for 1 person per room. So my clothes mainly stayed in my bag and on the floor..

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The room was never cleaned. The towels were never changed. We ran out of toilet roll which was never topped up.

When we used the hotel pool (which we assumed was part of the package) we were greeted by a lady dressed in black who took great pleasure in tell us that we all needed to pay 12 Euros each for the joy of using this pool.. which was empty..
We got out.

Service at the main bar was slow and when we asked to order we were always greeted with ‘en un minuto’ which usually turned into diez minutos before we asked again. Even then, there was never a smile.. as if because we were not dressed with a white hotel dressing gown we were not worth their time.

All these little things grated on our group a bit..

The golf courses we played were nearly faultless and we cannot fault the transport between courses and the airport

The hotel staff were lacking in service and rapport

Not sure we’d go back I’m afraid

In reference to the cleaning service, I would like to inform as you were explained at the check in time, the apartments tend to be cleaned every 7 days. These are tourist apartments and have different services than the hotel. However, you could have got all services in the apartments, by paying the extras fees. If I may I would like to recommend you for your hopefully next stay to book our outstanding hotel in order to provide you with all our services.

With respect to the slow service at the main bar, it must be said that normally, the staff is distributed according the time of main crowd of clients. You will surely understand that we are absolutely interested in offering a fast and effective service, for improving our client’s satisfaction, which is our primary aim.

We will work on the issues you addressed since our goal is to provide an experience that exceeds our guests´expectation. We are looking forward to have the chance to welcome you and to have you as our guests again
